ALPHA 0.6.10: Tissue Engineering


This is as good a time as any to note something about my creative process and the way I prioritize content. I don't include things I can't imagine: when something goes into FC, it's because I can picture it with clarity. I frequently get good suggestions that I can't quite picture, usually because they don't appeal to my own predelictions, and in those cases I am obliged to either force out substandard content or abandon the idea. (The best examples of this are scenes of the PC dominantly riding a slave's dick, which are frequently requested and could fit the setting if well written, but I can't write well.) More often, I get suggestions that I can see perfectly, sparking creative drive, and in they go. Finally, many scenes I imagine independently make it into the game, because they appeal to me personally. What this means is that there's going to be a bias in the content I add to FC in favor of stuff that I like, because I imagine things I like. I'm well aware that the game is not short of content involving big tits and anal sex, but I'm biased that way. Since I'm doing this because it's fun, that's not likely to change anytime soon.

That said, I'm amenable to popular requests if they can be addressed without too much work. I've added an organ farm to the pharmaceutical fabricator. It can currently grow ovaries, penises, and testicles for implantation. This is not going to be a major content focus going forward: it simply leverages existing code. It does not add previously impossible combinations of organs. It is not possible, for example, to give a slave two dicks, and I don't plan to add all the necessary code to handle that. All the organ farm does is offer an  expensive and slow way to move any slave to any currently supported genital layout. Since XX, XY and hermaphrodite slaves are already supported, this was a fairly straightforward addition. That's where I intend to leave it, to give players who really like radical transformation content a goal to work toward, and to provide a platform for modding in additional extreme body layouts if modders so desire. This addition brushes right up against the edge of what I think of as technologically possible in the FC world. I'm not particularly bothered by that, though, since it's described as being experimental, and it's deliberately balanced to be unprofitable and unavailable until the late game. Finally, a note on medical details I have intentionally left unspecified in-game: as far as the code is concerned, these organs make slaves biologically indistinguishable from slaves who have them naturally. That implies that all the relevant plumbing is included, so for example the "ovaries" option probably includes a uterus, Fallopian tubes, etc.

Download: DropboxMegaPrevious saves will not work for standard gameplay, but saves from 0.6.8+ can be used for the New Game Plus function. Hotfix 0.6.10.1 (2135 PST) addresses Cellblock and Dairy misdirects and Shelter career setting. Save compatible.


0.6.10 Changelog


Organ farm
  • Added an expensive, high reputation upgrade to the pharmaceutical fabricator that allows it to grow organs. It currently supports ovaries, penises, and testicles.
  • Organs are slave-specific and are started from slaves' individual surgery menus. Only a single organ can be grown per slave at any one time.
  • A list of all organs being grown can be viewed in the fabricator's submenu.
  • An alert will appear on the main menu during weeks in which an organ is ready for implantation, which is then performed from slaves' individual surgery menus.
Event updates
  • New events to check back in with two kinds of slaves who have changed since enslavement: formerly ugly slaves doing well at sex work, and slaves who did not like the dick but now do.
  • Event for slaves devoted enough to do a little intramural slavebreaking of their own.
  • The Shelter inspector will now hold off for a short time to allow the player a grace period to improve shelter slaves.
Other changes
  • Added appraisal miniscenes on slave sale which give a flavorful but comprehensive listing of applicable value multipliers.
  • Players who know the system and are uninterested in the new appraisal scenes can disable them from the options menu.
  • Added slave reactions to being assigned to the brothel. Like the industrial dairy assignment reactions, these are for flavor only and have no stat impact.
  • Since the reactions to facility assignments are for flavor only, added an option to the options menu to disable them.
  • Gave the Cellblock an expensive upgrade that softens inmate flaws at the cost of devotion.
  • Increased the chem damage penalty to production for slaves in a fully industrial dairy to encourage induction of fresh stock.
  • Very low sex drive can now reduce high attraction to either gender.
  • Bleached anuses will no longer prevent Purist bonuses for being free of body modification.
  • Pruned many main menu stats for mindbroken slaves, since they no longer have an impact. These qualities are still viewable in a slave's individual menu.
  • Lactation now gives a small bonus to performance on sexual assignments.
  • Head Girls will only attempt to soften flaws if a slave lacks a corresponding quirk; if she does not the HG will remove that flaw instead. 
  • Recoded the way familial recruitment events work to make the recruited slave better resemble the recruiter as she was at enslavement.
  • New Shelter slave origins.
  • Added a toggle on the economics report to always subsidize growth or reputation.
  • Split main menu visibility of arcology and desk descriptions into distinct options.
  • Many minor description expansions.
  • Bugfixes.

  1. Just posted this not more than a couple minutes ago in the v0.6.9 post, figure I may as well just copy it over here:

    Having slave hair grow over time is neat but kind of annoying if you want to keep some/all of your slaves shaved. Spending $50 per slave per week to re-shave them just seems excessive. It would be nice if a slave set to 'shaved' just didn't have their hair grow (assume it's being maintained, like the waxed pubic hair option?)

    Not sure of the exact cause of this bug, but sometimes if the PC uses Personal Attention to 'explore sexuality' the slaves sex drive/attraction levels will be discovered, but the slave listing and long info screens will still act as if you don't know their sexuality - and you can no longer explore it because you already have. If the HG does it while training/disciplining a slave this bug doesn't seem to happen, though.

    Areola and labia size don't seem to factor into the 'beauty' equation at all. Intended? Are they basically just there for descriptive options?

    The HG becoming prestigious over time is a nice idea. Have you considered similar options for other leadership positions? Maybe after the Bodyguard has won X pit fight events she'd have a chance for a prestige event? Or if a Recruiter has lured Y slaves into slavery for you she becomes eligible for a chance at gaining prestige?

    Similar to how being at max attraction to both sexes is listed as being 'omnisexual', perhaps being indifferent to both could be listed as 'asexual'? If nothing else it would save about a quarter of a line in space on the slave listing.

    Feature wishlist: the ability to fund/staff slave trading caravans and/or intra-arcology slave/goods trade. I'm imagining it as more of a background mechanic (similar to the corporation) but you could also train and assign slaves to it like a job (pony girls pull the caravans, other slaves guard them, perhaps with a caravan boss/trader leadership position). While I admit this is me reaching for a way to get pony girl content into the game, caravan guards would also add another use for combat-trained slaves (AFAIK as of now the only places in the game Combat skill is even a factor is the Bodyguard position and Pit fights).

Seeing as slavery is only legal in the Free City arcologies there would be nothing to keep them from being forcibly "liberated" by whatever nations they pass through regardless of their devotion. Not to mention it would be pretty dumb to have a slave haul the goods manually when they could just fly it to wherever it needs to go far faster and probably cheaper too, thereby bypassing any unnecessary and awkward border crossing incidents. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing a new job opening for Trained Fighters though.

  2. Hey could we get some paternalistic alternatives to the industrial Dairy? Something along the lines of upgrades to put the girls in the position of being treated like pampered Kobe beef cows? Mixing wine/ alcohol into their food to help improve devotion and massages to decrease stress/ improve trust. Said dairy upgrades could come at the cost of slower breast growth and reduced dairy production. But yeah a paternalistic dairy could style itself as producing a high quality artisan good from "happy cows" as opposed to the more profitable industrial yields from a more degrading playstyle.

    3. Yes this is why I'm asking for an alternative. These upgrades could perhaps even be mutually exclusive with the restraining racks needed to industrialize the dairy. Basically an artisan dairy as opposed to an industrial one.

    5. Perhaps but I'd be ok with the artisan dairy not being able to compete in terms of credits if it means the cows are devoted and trusting. The artisan dairy would be for those pursuing paternalistic ideals of happy and healthy slaves. While industrial is more for those who place quantity and profit above all else. So industrial should probably have higher profit margins or faster returns on investment.

  4. As far as scenes that you'd add if you could manage to write them - would you be willing to consider player submissions?

    I'm not talking about people sending you every little thing they'd like to see in the game, but rather you could list the top few scenes you'd be most willing to add that you don't feel you can write satisfactorily, and let folks send in suggestions for those specific scenes

    Also, I cannot select the "Western clothing" for the Rules assistant clothing, it just doesn't change the selection.

  6. I'd love to see accessories for the slaves. 2 accessory slots, with options that appeal to certain fetishes, and can influence a slave's tendencies toward such sexual fetishes. Also, some options can be for just appearance, nothing more.

    - leather restraints (for submissives)
    - spiked leather bracelets (for dommes)
    - nipple clamps (for masochists)
    - riding crop (for sadists)
    - a necklace that says 'BUTTSLUT' / 'CUMSLUT' / 'TOTAL SLUT' (for buttsluts / cumsluts / nymphos)
    - cow horn hairband (for breast fetish girls)
    - leash (for humiliation fetish girls)
    - ballgag / bit gag / panel gag (for submissives, also forces no speech rule on for the girl)

FC author, i have nodiced that each girl that chooses her assignement just gets off the list. i started a game like 15 minutes ago and had my 3 first slaves just vanish as they auto assigned themselves to the school.the number of owned slaves still is correct but i have control over only the ones that haven't passed through auto assignement.

  9. With New Game+ it seems that if two slaves are mother and daughter and slave wives they lose both during the carry over. Twins and wives seems to work fine though.

  10. I'd like to see chastity cages for dickgirls and if possible corresponding events for dickgirls with a humiliation fetish to go with their chastity cage. All the young, nubile, freely given away female bodies around her and she's not ever allowed to get any of it. Maybe also some additional descriptions if you assign her to spa duty. Having a chastity enforced dickgirl wash and clean her fellow female slaves to get them ready for everyone else to fuck even though she's never allowed to would be a great way to create extra humiliation.

    4. Well prosthesis is nice if you want stronger limbs but with the advances of Bio-Printing i think its probably cheaper to just print new limbs and organs directly to the person

      right now Bio-Printing has advanced to the point that scientists have made a normal hamburger sized meat, although its a 400k$ hamburger but its progress right there

So, my favourite slave type has always been the fertile and virile hermaphrodite, which until now has only been attainable via the lab event or, more recently, character creation, so I'm very happy with this change. Alas, I am still going to be eternally torn between gender fundamentalism and radicalism. One likes testicles, but doesn't like pregnancy, and the other likes pregnancy, but hates testicles!

    The eternal, internal struggle continues... :(

This update got me wondering... do you think it would be too much hassle to add a pharmaceutical upgrade that lets you develop a non-chirurgical way of making slaves taller (thus removing the odd limbs ratio description from height increase?) Maybe limiting it to young slaves (bone plates still partially open?).

  16. I just encountered a weird bug where the head girl befriended her roommate, erasing her other relationships. She was twins and lovers with another slave (the spa attendant if that matters), and now apparently they aren't even related any more.

    I did bring these girls over in NG+, and saw someone else having issues carrying over relationships, so maybe that is the problem?

  17. Can you please balance out the reputation deterioration? I'm on week 102 and I cannot go above 7k, which means I'll never see more content. Even with cheats enabled, I'm losing more than I'm gaining.

  18. Make sure you've branded all your slaves, and then build a club and send as many girls to serve there as you need to gain as much reputation as you need. It's a trade-off between money and reputation that you have to decide how many to whore out and how many to do public/club service. It sounds to me like you're probably whoring out all your slaves and/or not branding anyone.

    2. I've maximized as best as I can, including what was stated above. I'm playing on an easy save with cheats enabled and still I'm making no gains. Sometimes I'm losing 300 rp a day, other times 1000+ and that's not including when a rando event pops up. I know the glossary says to find a strategy to even it out, but even if you're able to, a tiny event can rob you of way too much rep.

    4. For me, it's still my first save. My rep loss is stated as low but degrades faster because I'm young, but I still jump from 8,000 to 7,020 in one week. That's insane especially with my list of accomplishments and titles, I shouldn't be losing that much each turn. I love the game, but with no cheats to edit my rep and no way to really "subsidize" my rep loss, I'll never see new content.

    1. I think that would work out. Like serve the public/club, but with camgirl/film porn. A bit of money and a bit of reputation, but less than either whoring or serving the public. Perhaps with variety bonuses depending on not only old/young, slim/stacked, etc. but some abstraction of the details of what's in the films themselves. Straight, lesbian, group sex, and such depending on how many slaves are in the studio and possibly whether you've hired outside adult actors (as a facility upgrade). The tradeoff for getting less out of your slaves than for whoring/public service would be that it would be less damaging - no preventatives required and no hole stretching. Or at least less.

      I think I might try modding this in myself for personal use.

  23. Reputation loss is still insane to the point of being a bug.

    Can we go back to the old algorithm or system of calculation?

    It's absurd, even when I've got like ten slaves in the Club, am using an Older player character, and am doing double Reputation-increasing events each week.

    Rather than having Reputation loss as high at it is weekly, I'd rather we just gain Reputation more slowly. Right now the game is barely playable compared to how it used to be because it locks you out from Reputation being so low.

    P.S. Can we get bestiality events and sex added to the game?

  24. Are you using a female/shemale PC or something cause I have zero issues getting to worshipped rep level. Also sincerely doubt bestiality of any kind will ever be added at any point, same goes for loli and pet play. Just doesn't ever seem to interest FC Dev since its suggested all the time and NEVER gets added or mentioned in reply. Would be nice if he could add stuff to the Not getting added list to avoid confusion.

    1. I'm using an Older completely male PC, which boggles my mind. I've got five fucktoys, eight club sluts, several prominent slaves, etc.

      However, I probably should add that I'm using the NG+ option, of which I did notice a bug (it aged two of my slaves into the 40's). Perhaps it has somehow caused a carry-over of the Reputation bug in the previous edition?

    2. Try saving the game to a separate file. Fire up a new game without NG+ and see if it happens again. If it doesn't and everything seems fine, you can always email the bugged save to FC Dev with a note describing the issue. The NG+ option is new and relatively untested so it's only natural that a few bugs will need to be worked out. Odds are it's either something to do with the slaves themselves or it's an issue with the NG+ mechanic.

      There didn't happen to be any red highlighted error messages at any point you could post here by any chance when you imported your save? This would also likely be helpful.

    I'd like to request one thing though: it takes waaaaay too long for me to get slaves up to breasts the size of Lilac/Cornelia. Can we just have a breast-volume dropdown for Cheat Mode build-your-own slaves? It would save me dozens upon dozens of turns doing it the Hormonal way (and as well waiting time from waiting for Slave Health to recover either from hormone side effects or implant damage to Health).

  26. Hardcoded slave weirdness

    A starting slave named "Whore" initially had "mindbroken" instead of her devotion value. She initially had a neutral sexuality, but hit a "may I be a cumslut too" event, after which her devotion became an actual number. Also, her INT (which started as "I") went to "I--", at which point she became eligible for classes.

    I don't usually deal with mindbroken slaves, so I can't tell if this stat behavior is working as intended or bugged. Either way, it looks weird.

  27. INCONSISTENCY - "turn her into a cumslut too" event's "no" choice indicates it takes anal virginity. The resolution paragraph does not reference anal virginity loss, and the slave maintains anal virginity after the choice is selected.

  29. Every time I play with the japanese FS I hit a bug. At least this one didn't crash my game in fact it didn't do much of anything except have this "Error: : bad conditional expression in clause (#12): unterminated string literal " with this ""

  30. Dairy is OP, this is the easiest run I have ever had, the only time my funds went into red was when I willingly let it happen by buying upgrades. With 33 slaves getting millked at turn 92 i'm getting ~130k, and I'm not even using the industrial settings

    1. I feel like most people just think its gross, never build it, then come here to complain they aren't making enough money. Dairy is and pretty much always has been a way to make ridiculous amounts of income with very little effort beyond training up a milkmaid. With demands for sex decreasing over time and no way to bring it back up once it wanes, milking slaves just makes more sense financially. Personally I have zero interest in lactation, and all the britches I send to the dairy are dead to me the second they're strapped into the milking racks. All I care about is the liquid gold they apparently excrete for me.

Technically even today's tech assuming ethics aren't on the board would let you replace someone's arms and legs with cat/dog ones or refashion ears to be canine or feline, granted the limbs would require immune suppressants as well as the limbs themselves to at least be recognizable at a cellular level to the hosts system, but it is possible. Technically we can regrow arms and attach them, it's just ethics that prevent them from being studied thoroughly, ethics being something free cities aren't overly concerned with.

      What I'm saying is, I want To turn all the male slaves into hyperovulating catgirls in heat, tie them to the bed in the harem room and wait for them to beg for the D they hate from the bigD they hate more

Instead of getting rid of the mercenaries at endgame (since you've practically promised them knighthoods and job security at this point), why not just have more randomized refugee raid events or arc assaults? Having a better equip army means stops refugees from pillaging your citizens and captures more slaves in battle and so forth.

    I don't see why there would suddenly be no need for an armed force in such an unstable setting and furthermore, I just love being able to torture and break my enemies.

    While I'm on that, the ability to execute or just downright murder my slaves would be a greatly appreciated edition. Waiting for my gladitor to be in the mood to execute the slaves that annoy me can be somewhat tiresome.

    1. On a side note, it's a little ambitious so I wasn't going to mention it, but I would enjoy to see a bit more basic simulation on the defensive front. Some basic hiring and firing scheme of mercenary generals and such. Keeping generals I can trust to keep my arc in order and murdering (or forcefully retiring if you're feeling merciful) the ones that start skimming funds or mildly abusing the trust I've placed in them.

      Either way, I strongly believe that the mercenary front of the game (which is currently used largely for flavour only I believe) is just so much untapped potential for what could be a really great addition. It would make for some interesting new options for the current slaves as well. Gifting slaves to my commanders, loaning them out to secure loyalities and such. Really widen the game to the more political aspects of slavery.

    also, an play currently, do slaves with implanted ovaries/wombs have it listed in their page that they had it implanted, or is it just treated as having always been that way? cause sometimes the fact that they WERE changed is half the fun, and 30+ slaves makes remembering what youve done to who difficult

  36. Using the Fighting Pit is, at the moment, a little bit inconvenient as you have to manually set the fighters every single time. I'd be thankful for an option to just create a "fighting roster" (composed of slaves with combat training), from which two (or more? Maybe you could expand the fighting pit?) would be picked at random each week to fight regularly. It should also be possible to set it (or maybe impossible to set the other way around?) so that fights to the death cannot happen at random - you have to authorize those yourself, unless you're truly an insanely cruel (not to mention wasteful!) slave owner who doesn't mind finding out every week one of their combat slaves is dead.

    I know you said more war oriented content would be relegated to your next game, but maybe something smaller scale? As a thought: to emphasize the collapse of the civilized world, during the late game, IN ADDITION to the worsening weather, attacks on the arcology would become more and more common. These attacks may come from rival arcologies, Old World nations deseperate for dwindling resources and (later) roving bands of raiders and refugees. These cause damage to the arcology and may even result in the loss of slaves, carried off by the attackers.

    An improvement or series of improvements, the equivalent of Weather Clading, could be used to mitigate and ultimately nullify this threat - say, an Advanced Warning RADAR System, which may be further upgraded with machinegun turrets and ultimately with AA missile batteries. Like Weather Clading, investing in those before the situation gets bad enough may cause the citizens to become disgruntled with your paranoia.

    As a further addition (and to provide another use for combat trained slaves), maybe the ability to raid other Free Cities/isolated Old World communities? This hardly needs to be an expansive strategy minigame. Just add the ability to expand the arcology with a "hanger full of long range VTOL troop carriers", from which you can order raids on a weekly basis. Raids, depending on the combat capabilities of the slave chosen to lead them and/or participate (it is assumed that there are regular soldiers alongside your slaves, but your slaves recieve better gear and are infinitely more loyal to you), may provide any amount of slaves and/or resources, but also result in the injury, death, or captivity of your slaves (from which you'd have to ransom them or risk losing them forever). Further upgrade ideas for the expansion: a wing of drone bombers (improves efficiency of raids), an airborne hospital equipped with extensive countermeasures (improves combat survivability of your slaves), a training range/course (which allows slaves to gain the "combat trained" trait after several weeks of training, though they'd be inferior to those who came with it and have presumebly trained for years).

An extra thought: since you've added the ability to turn female slaves into dickgirls/hermaphrodites, and the trope of the former girl being terrified/ashamed/uncontrollably aroused by/proud of her newfound male urges and organs after growing a penis is popular in these media, how about a bunch of scenes for that?   38. I have an idea for something new an upgraded Pharmaceutical Fabricator could produce: a new type of drug treatment to give your slaves. Recently, I've been reading about the concept of "smart drugs". It's currently in its infancy but I don't think it's so much of a stretch to assume by the time of Freecities those would be more common. They're drugs which have the long term effect of improving memory, focus, learning abilities, etc. They would be quite expensive and have medical side effects, but over time would allow slaves' "intelligence" to be improved by up to one level. They cannot make "Brilliant" better but they can for example turn "Smart" slaves "Brilliant", or "Moronic" slaves merely stupid.

  39. I love the idea of more "cultured" slaves, whose sexuality only serves to highlight their refinement and whose refinement only highlights the absurdity of their lewdness. How about a facility, catering only to the richest of the rich, sort of a gentlemen's club/bar/games room in which they are offered such things as gourmet food, fine wine, fine cigar, pool and poker all served by your slaves? Working at the facilitiy would require not only high beauty but also education and intelligence. Its manager would be called the Maitre d', and would preferably be a highly intelligent, polite MILF.

    Based on how you market it, the slaves in the facility could be anything from demure maids to bound fuckdolls serving the aristocrats with dildos jutting out their asses. Maybe you could even market it for having "conversational slaves", who, like geishas and courteasans of old, would be permitted and in fact expected to talk to the clients and enrich their day!

    Upgrades could be things like "hire a world-renowned chef to prepare meals", which would be especially impressive as most of the food in the free cities is probably either synthetic or made of soy, or "acquire a fabolous collection of aged liquors".

    1. It's found in the slave description page. If you're using a mod there's no way to tell if there's a bug because it's the game or the mod. Only real option is to ask whoever made the mod or uninstall the mod instead.

It's pretty much what goes through many people's minds when they think anarchocapitalism anyway, right? You get extra bonuses for having plenty of loyal, combat trained slaves, mercenaries and armed drones and such, and penalties for being too peaceful in your exterior relations. The description would mention that everyone in the arcology is packing, you don't go anywhere without an automatic pistol and there are missile turrets on the walls.

    1. Would definitely enjoy seeing more bodyguards for sure. I mean one bodyguard just isn't enough, they gotta sleep at some point you know? Maybe have one act as a "captain" of your personal guard, and the rest could fill in its ranks like brothel/club/dairy/arcade only with effectiveness determined by physical build, height, weight, and obviously combat training. The captain would have to meet the same requirements only maybe with intelligence levels as an added modifier and possibly giving dominance or sadism a bonus.

      Besides, who wouldn't want their own personal Amazonian goon squad?

It's an aggravating break in the game's rhythm, and I agree that it doesn't make sense that she could be dating someone behind my back. I think it would be best to just remove the bodyguard as an option for this event.
