ALPHA 0.6.3: "On the Horizon"


It has been brought to my attention that the cellblock, spa, and schoolroom are bad. To address this, 0.6.3 adds a contract services function. If you have any of these facilities staffed, and fewer than five of your own slaves in the facility, the Wardeness, Attendant or Schoolteacher will have time on her hands. She'll bring citizens' slaves in for training in the background, making money based on how much extra time she has and how good she is at her job. Good staff can make a reasonable profit, making it worthwhile to set the facilities up even if they aren't always needed for the PC's own slaves.

I don't have a long term plan for what I work on or when I'll work on it. I mention this because I don't want this update to give anyone the mistaken impression that a sequel to FC is imminent. When I switch over to working on that, which should probably be after FC 1.0, it'll be obvious; new content for FC will dry up for a long time. The change in 0.6.3 that invokes the future of FC is the addition of a simple long term threat. I'll leave the mechanics to the changelog below for those who wish to avoid spoilers. It's fairly punishing by design, and one-handed mode turns it off.

I've been surprised and gratified by players' interest in some of the more simulationist aspects of the game. Thus encouraged, I've added basic demographic tracking to the game to give the player some indication of the thousands of lives involved. The PC's arcology will start with slaves heavily outnumbered by free citizens; I've never actually made this clear, but that's how I visualize things. (Otherwise, the high demand for slave prostitutes seen in the game doesn't make sense.) However, a healthy arcology will naturally skew harder and harder towards slaves as slaves are imported and wealth gets concentrated in the hands of a few. Population will otherwise tend to slowly follow prosperity, but some future societies can also impact it, as noted in their encyclopedia entries. In turn, the ratio of citizens to slaves will impact the efficiency of sex work. This effect is balanced so that in 0.6.3, for example, whoring starts out more profitable than whoring in 0.6.2, slides to parity with whoring in 0.6.2 in the midgame, and eventually becomes less profitable than whoring in 0.6.2 in the lategame. I promise FC won't turn into a full-blown erotic simulation; for that, you'll have to play Crusader Kings 2.

Feedback requests: I've played so much FC at this point that I could use perspective from players who don't know the mechanics by heart, on two things. First, how's the balance from your perspective? My 0.6.3 playtests felt too easy, but I wonder if that's me knowing all the tricks. Second, what don't you understand from playing the game or looking in the encyclopedia? I suspect I need to do a better job of explaining mechanics, but again, I need outside perspectives on that. As mentioned on /d/, I'll consider suggestions for more lategame specializations of future societies. Also, if you post what you'd look for in a slave market, I may include you as a potential "prominent citizen" buyer.

Download 0.6.3.2: DropboxMegaPrevious saves will not work. With the current versions of Twine 2 and Sugarcube 2, Firefox seems to run the game somewhat better than Chrome does, though both work fine.

Latest hotfix at 1655 PST March 17. Addresses most reported bugs. Save compatible. 0.6.3.2 is not fully playtested. 0.6.3.1 is still up on Dropbox in the unlikely event it's unplayable.

0.6.3 Changelog

Major additions:
  • Demographic tracking for the arcology's population. It starts with citizens outnumbering slaves but will naturally shift towards slaves. Some future society choices will affect this process. Demographics will affect the efficiency of sexual services like whoring, public service, and the Arcade.
  • Arcology-wide laws that can be implemented when a future society is fully adopted, the arcology is completely customized to support it, and the player has enough money and reputation to overcome the strong Free Cities resistance to such things. These vary from changes to leadership positions to radical modification of the output of the random slave generator.
  • Options menu for the personal assistant. As your personal assistant develops, she will offer the option to select her virtual appearance. This will be visible in her options menu, and will reflect what she's doing at the time, if anything.
New events:
  • A new kind of once-per-slave event for slaves who have undergone major changes since being enslaved. Two such events are possible: one for heavily feminized slaves with dicks, and one for MILFs who have learned to enjoy sex. Based on a suggestion from /d/.
  • Generic inspection event for terrified slaves.
Significant rebalancing:
  • Severe weather conditions will now damage the arcology, requiring costly repairs. One-handed mode disables this.
  • In some situations, excessive devotion or trust now overflows into the other rather than being lost.
  • The cellblock, spa, and schoolroom now allow their leaders to earn money by contracting out slave training services if the PC has fewer than five slaves in the facility.
  • Complete rebalance of the sexual release rules.
Minor updates:
  • Two mutually opposed future societies: Youth Preferentialism and Maturity Preferentialism; these are very basic for now.
  • More potential slave buyers, based on /d/ anons' preferences; selling to any of these will produce unique reactions from other slaves.
  • Distinct vaginal accessory rules assistant settings for virgins and non-virgins, to allow automation of virginity preservation.
  • Better drug logic for the rules assistant: for optimal asset expansion, set curatives to fix unhealthy slaves only.
  • Unless the Transformation Fetishist or Asset Expansionist future societies are active, Head Girls should be less aggressive about implanting their personal slaves.
  • The arcade will now do its best to maximize inmate fluid production by applying lactation drugs where appropriate.
  • Additional options for existing events.
  • Continued event option balancing between devotion and trust.
  • Numerous minor UI revisions.
  • Updated gameplay information in the encyclopedia.
  • Bugfixes.

    2. There's also a futanari mod that adds sucubus/incubus and vampire and werewolf events. Unfortuantly even if you get a futa ruler, she can't marry a female and kids. Can only do it the normal way.
      Also FC Dev, the Mega link doesn't seem to work, takes me to an empty folder.

    3. Vanilla CK2 can be richly erotic if you have a little bit of imagination. As a pagan with the right succession rules, it's often rewarding from a pure gameplay advantage perspective to go careering around Europe collecting pretty young noblewomen for your harem! During my last Mongol playthrough, I sacked Constantinople and came away with three of the Byzantine Emperor's daughters - two of which had good enough genes for the Khan to breed them.     Please add a hair color display to the custom slave ordering interface. As of right now the only way to see hair color is if the slave has pubic hair.

    Also, please add the option to randomize hair color, similar to the name/career ones.

  5. Hey FC Dev, this is pretty minor but I figured I'd ask anyways. When slaves are wearing t-shit/cutoffs, and the description is: She's wearing cutoffs and a t-shirt, which has "Property Of" across the front, above your name. I was wondering if, since the PC can be named, why not have it just say "Property of [PLAYER NAME]"?

I would love to see a feature where you can create sort of a default custom tattoo design for one-click tattooing, like setting it so that when you go into the tattoo menu, it's already set in the custom tattoo slot and just needs you to tap the enter key to put it on them. Personally, all my privileged position slaves have my personal seal tattooed on their nape as a sign that they are my elite (lord knows I put enough time in training them).

    1. Lactation implants are a surgery which slightly reduces health. Like all such surgeries, the assistant will not apply it unless the slave in question is fairly healthy - it avoids all situations in which the surgery and the slave's job could drive her down to where she's getting illness penalties. Try setting the assistant to drug "imperfectly healthy" slaves; that should get them healthy enough that it's confident they can take the surgery.

    Worshipful and extremely trusting vaginal virgin who triggered the "catch a slave fucking another slave" event showed that she "hates and fears" the master taking her virginity.

    In case it matters, the slave in question was a herm from the lab event.

  15. I'm having a very serious issue in that slaves seem to be disappearing from my brothel and I don't know why or how. The best I can determine is that it seems to be happening during the management phase of each week, but only rarely and seemingly at random. I am using chrome to run the game if that helps at all. If anyone could confirm/explain this phenomenon I would be extremely grateful.

To uninstall the upgrade, youu need to take all of the slaves out of the brothel, (including the Mistress, I forget the actual title) and when it is empty, at the top of the page is a choice to "Decomission the Brothel". You can then rebuild it and increase the room counts again, but you will need the extra funds.


      This is also how one can decomission anything apart from master Bedroom and Head girl Suite.

    4. I've been running my brothel with the aphrodisiac upgrade since week 15 or so. My game is up to week 58 and I've only lost 1 girl, and that was from the merc marriage event. Maybe I'm just lucky...

After checking the health of the slaves in the brothel I have noticed that two of them are on the edge of death despite having set the rules assistant to use curatives on healthy and above slaves. It seems to have been the health damage from constant aphrodisiac use that did them in. I'm pretty embarrassed that I didn't notice this when I assigned replacement slaves to the brothel before. However I am surprised that there seems to be no notification upon slave death, it seems logical for a slave owner to now how and why they would have lost an extremely expensive piece of property. Thank you for your help.

    7. Oh, and I was not setting drugs manually as I rely on the personal assistant to use curatives until healthy and growth hormones until stacked. Also this was in 0.6.3. The brothel upgrade doesn't seem worth it if the use of extreme aphrodisiacs from the upgrade is going to override using curatives to keep slaves healthy and alive.

  16. ENCYCLOPEDIA SUGGESTIONS:

    New people may not understand the following;

    1. How Reputation gain/loss works. While certain specific actions clearly raise and lower it, overall it seems to go up or down at the end of the week without reason. It sometimes goes down at the end of a week where each specific slave has been doing multiple things that are supported by society, will be branded, and may even be Famous. I could have a club promoting reputation (with a capable DJ), and a suite full of slaves (with a capable concubine) and reputation may still drop. The game doesn't make it very clear how that could be.

    2. What exactly happens when a slave is assigned to a facility. Do reputation affecting things like branding, Prominence, and having a nature supported by society still work? We don't get notifications of it, but I assume it does.

    3. What exactly do leaders do? I understand the basic idea, but some roles are a little vague. I am thinking specifically of the DJ and Concubine who boost reputation gain. It seems like a club will boost reputation by the same amount regardless of how many workers are in it, how good the DJ is, or how well advertised it is.

    4. What exactly does health really do? I know that an extremely low health slave may die if surgery is performed. Also it seems that some customers frown on having slaves in poor condition, and the slaves themselves will usually be a bit unhappier and not as productive. What about the 'yellow' healthy versus 'green' perfect health? I don't really notice a difference, but I'm often dumping curatives on them anyway because I'm a perfectionist and like seeing all green.

    5. The Bodyguard... I know it boosts reputation a bit, but do they actually provide security? It would be nice to see once in awhile, one of those violent customers being taken down by a Bodyguard instead of a security drone.

    6. The recurring upkeep Investments in the culture/society... what does that do exactly? The only function I am aware of is it opening up the options for the large one-time investments. Once those are all bought out, should we even bother to keep dumping money every week?

    7. Cosmetic changes in the auto-salon. Do they do anything at all?

    8. The two race-related society cultures.. what is the difference? One is inclusive and one is exclusive. Is there a difference between making a slave race directly, or indirectly by elevating a different race? And is there any use for elevating a specific race? Even slaves in leadership positions of an elevated race are frowned upon by society.

    9. The little sex scenes on the main page, and on the individual slave pages, do they actually affect the game? I know they do if you take virginity, but besides that it seems to not do anything.

    10. The Head Girl's personal slave, what exactly does that do? I notice effects on the slave, but not really for the Head Girl.

    11. When one slave fucks another, it seems to only satisfy one of them. For example, if the recipient is a slave that is on restrictive masturbation, they will still be sexually frustrated by the end of the week.

    2. #4 Slaves who are healthier tend to perform better. For example, slaves who are healthy will usually earn more when you've got them working as milk cows compared to slaves who are unhealthy. When a slave is at perfect or near perfect health, she also gets an affection boost.

      #10. The Head Girl is happier and sometimes gets a health boost because she's got a subordinate sex slave to look after her health.

    5. Hope I'm not being presumptive, but it sounds like your difficulties with reputation might stem from the fact that you're not taking scaling decay into account. The more you have, the more you need to do to maintain it (until you're at the highest level, iirc?). That's the "Your base rate of reputation loss is [blank]" thing at the end. The exact math is hidden in the code, but for the most part it's just a matter of capitalizing on a few dozen variables and letting it happen.

  17. I'm finding it rather difficult to reconcile the new FS options claiming "your citizens are unused to laws" with the rest of the game. What differentiates these laws from the other laws-that-are-actually-contracts to such an extent that the citizens are unused to these but willing to accept other things that are laws in everything but name?

    1. There's an anti-law prejudice in your arcology, and like all prejudices, it doesn't make a lot of sense. A lot of real-world libertarians are guilty of this: they're against regulations, except the ones they're used to.

  19. I've been playing FC almost daily for a little over a month now. It's a fantastic game overall. I'll provide the requested feedback based on my experience.

    Balance:
    I have found the balance to be much too easy. At the game's start, finances are a bit tight, but completely manageable as long as I don't overspend. At this point, I'm saving as much money as possible for the mid game. At the mid game (where you defeat the Daughters, and are spending money to bankrupt the other arcology owner), finances are extremely tight, but aren't usually a problem since I've pooled all of my money for this point up until now. During the late game (everything after that), I have ridiculous amounts of money, and am usually just trying to spend as much of it as possible to prevent the increasingly large number from potentially screwing up the sidebar's margins.

    What I don't fully understand:
    1. Clothing - I think I understand most of it, but not the specific differences between outfits. Is there a time where I should use the restrictive latex outfit over the uncomfortable straps, or use nice lingerie instead of the slave gown? Aside from fetish preferences, I don't know if the choices are just fluff, or if each outfit is best in a certain scenario.

    2. Bodyguard - I don't know what the bodyguard does at all, aside from the gladiatrix event. I know from the encyclopedia that it is mostly for show, and not a real security position, but I have no idea how having a bodyguard influences my game.

    3. Head Girl's Slave - I understand how this works, but I don't understand how I am supposed to view it. She is the head girl's slave rather than mine, and she'll do whatever she wants with her. Am I supposed to see this feature as having the head girl train a slave that I eventually take from her and sell, or is it just a fun bit of fluff to give the head girl a slave?

    4. Oophorectomy - As with the above, I know what it does, but not why I would do it. Sterilizing her allows me to reverse the decision if the need arises, but an oophorectomy is permanent. Yet I don't see any gameplay differences between the two that would make a permanent oophorectomy more advantageous than a reversible sterilization.

    Personal Wishlist:
    Just some features I personally would like to see.
    5. More Choices During Slave Customization - There are a few options that are not selectable when customizing a slave (at the start, or for order). Off hand, I remember them being: skin type (white, olive, etc), skin color (pale, fair, etc), hair color, and pussy lips size.

    6. Wording On Skin Color Changes - I prefer girls with pale or fair skin. In real life, going from sun-tanned skin to fair skin is a pretty natural process for otherwise white people. But in FC, the wording (eg; 'her skin has been lightened.') makes it sound like she's gone through some sort of surgical procedure and came out with a noticeable oddity, as opposed to "I just kept her indoors all winter and she's no longer as tan."

    7. Some sort of relationship mechanic. Occasionally, I get a slave that I really like. But the highest position I can give her is the Concubine position, where I never hear from her again outside of the "It can wait" event. I'm not advocating a dating simulator or anything, just something where you can have a slave that you 'love', and still have her play an active role in your game.

    8. Starting Slave Relationship Options - This is really just a personal fetish, but seems fitting with all of the other incest content. During the intro, you have the option to bring custom slaves with you. I would be just tickled pink if I had the option of setting that slave as my sister, and having even a sliver of gameplay content reflect this choice.

    Anyway, hope the feedback is somewhat useful. You're doing a wonderful job with the game.

      2. The good ones give reputation and are useful in the daughter events. Not sure what else there is for them to even do.

      3. I think of the head girl's slave as a toy for her. Just something to set her above the rest.

      4. Didn't think of what the person above mentioned. I just considered it to be like muting and amputation. Cruel punishment for slaves you don't like for whatever reason.

      I strongly agree with all of the stuff on your wishlist expect for the 8th. I'm not against that sort of stuff but it doesn't quite fit in with the game, in my opinion.

      It just seems too personal for the player character. The slaves are just that, slaves. Forcing them to perform incestuous sex acts is just part of the profession. Involving your own family makes it more than that to me.

      It'd still like to see it in game though.

    5. I'm not sure what it effects, but you can declare your head girl to be your consort if you advance Egyptian society and pass a law for it.

      Consort meaning: a wife, husband, or companion, in particular the spouse of a reigning monarch. synonyms: partner, life partner, companion, mate

    6. 2. As i recall before shit i dunno was a long time age lol. there used to be an event that would involve you getting attacked or something in the arcology. If you had your bodyguard it would reduce damage to you arcology and give a decent rep boost(depending on how well she was trained of course). Again it was quite awhile ago so i don't remember the exact details.

      7. while as one has stated it is frowned upon but i believe its more frowned upon if they are seen as equals. I don't see why one cannot have a favorite(s) slave(s). Hell my favorite ones are just assigned as fucktoys since as you have pointed out about the concubine position they arne't really heard from again.

    8. 7. Yeah, that's one reason I don't like using the Concubine feature. Slaves in the suite generally disappear from the game... so instead of sending my favored slaves to the suite, I just keep them on the mainscreen and designate their job as "fucktoy." However if there was a way to say you "love" that Concubine (as with the OP, I'm not asking for a dating sim), their disappearance would be more palatable.

      The other reason I'm not as fond of the suite feature is that if there's more than one girl there, they focus on each other. I'd like it more if they were exclusively devoted to their master.

  20. I'd really like the ability to access the international slave trade once I'm in the late game when I use the restricted trade start option.

    Something like an option in the "Buy slaves" menu. Maybe requiring a good reputation and a $5000 charge to use it for a week.

    It would also be nice to be able to specify what your characters race and nationality are. Not that it would need to have any direct impact on gameplay. It would just be a nice addition.

    After implementing my laws about Slave biologically being female, my Concubine did her interview and bragged about all the huge dicks flopping about. That malarkey doesn't fly too well in my city! Sure every now and then you'll see a willy on a slave, but's small and probably caged. We like our women to be women around these parts!

    (Also, loved the Laws, especially the booting of non favored races. It's a tiny touch but it really got me invested.)

  22. Here is my feedback, as a very new player (I started with 0.6.2.3).
    Overall, the game is very good, and deeper than what it seems at first.

    Nonetheless, I think that some aspects of the game can be made better:
    * having the player informed of the unkeep cost for new facilities and random events. I particularly think about the mercenary troop random event.
    * distinguish clothes between slave clothes, normal clothes and luxurious clothes (with a color code for instance). Same thing for collars and shoes
    * Having the ability to block certain extreme body modifications for gameplay. Several times, I started with a quadruple amputee woman slave, which had me sell her immediately, because such a fetish is a big turn off for me
    * When acquiring a new slave, to have the choice to sterilize her
    * On the same topic of sterilization, I'm thinking sterilization and the other operation to ablate ovaries are redundant; why not change sterilization as installing a sterilet, which is less invasive and damaging
    * Having an "advice" button. The A.I. would deliver an advice based on, by order of priority: a predefinite, recommended build order for the facilities, an advice to buy slaves in a bearish market, and sell slaves in a bullish market, reminders about societal projects and unkeeps, and eventually, generic advice about gameplay

    Concerning new contents:
    * New cloth: loincloth
    * New shoes: sandals
    * New vagina implement: dildo-implemented chastity belt

      From what I get by playing the game, it feels like the "sterilization" is something very traumatising and definitive, which is the opposite of putting an intrauterine device (what is called in my mother tongue a "sterilet"). Moreover, these devices can be removed, and thus make the operation reversible, unlike the in-game sterilization.

  27. I'm a fairly new player to FC, but it wasn't particularly hard to get going on normal difficulty. Starting with just one of the extra fund starts grants enough money to start with a couple good slaves with defects. And that's very easy to train out of. Sticking a slave onto recruiting migrants lets me train the defects out of them and sell at a really high price. Most of my early game money making comes from that, with maybe a slave or two working on one of the various money jobs. It becomes very easy to amass large amounts of money.

    To be fair, I've never tried on the difficult economics, and my first run was mostly a bumbling failure while I learned how the game works. But after that, it was easy. Actually, on that first run, I was paying attention to the weather. I thought it would affect the street-walking slaves, but it didn't, so I stopped paying attention. I could have used a little more on the reputation system in the encyclopedia in the beginning, but looking back it would have just detracted from the game.

    I love love loved the addition of the buyer system. It adds a little story to each slave. And the demographic, while I haven't played it yet, sounds totally up my alley. I want to know more about my arcology and how I'm affecting it.

  28. It doesn't feel TOO easy. I haven't tried it on very hard, at least on the latest version, but it doesn't feel terribly punishing either. It's a fine line, if you make it too hard, I don't think people are going to be very happy when trying it. I've NEVER read a single entry on the encyclopedia, I am sorry to say. I felt the game conveyed the ideas mostly fairly clearly so I didn't need to resort to reading "manual" to understand what was going on. The subtext of the world seemed pretty obvious to me, and the commands are fairly obvious. I probably missed some subtle interactions by doing that, and on this new version there are some hormone/drugs things that made me go "huh?" and I should probably look them up...

    Anyway, what I think you should work on primarily is to add some variety to the sex scenes. It's fairly trivial in Twine to do some simple [either] statements to make it build a random sex scene each time. You're using sugarcube, so I don't think it has the equivalent of [either] which is part of Harlowe, but I don't think the functionality is difficult to implement.

    The point being, I'd just like to see a bit more variety in the sex scenes (and I don't even mean the 'cutscenes') because right now there's minimal reason to ever choose to fuck some slave that goes by, because you know what you're going to get. Might as well just have something that reads 'you fucked x in the x' right now, because it's so repetitive.

    Just saying. Otherwise I think the game is great, and I enjoy the simulationist aspect a lot. I just wish there was a bit more procedural content in the descriptions and especially sex scenes.

    Arabian Nights- Remake the the arcology to look Arabian. (white plaster, gold minarets, blue inlays, etc.)
    Bonus to middle-eastern and indo-aryan slaves, harem clothes, mercenaries renamed Jannisaries.
    Mysterious Orient- Remake the arocology to look Oriental. (pagodas, rice paper walls, tatami mat floors, etc.)
    Bonus to east-Asian and Malaysian slaves, kimono and quipao, not sure what to rename mercenaries.
    The goal isn't historical accuracy but an ethnic pastiche for the arcology owner's amusement.
    Total Dehumanization- Slaves no longer have names but are assigned numbers, enforced silence,
    latex outfit, cows should just moo, etc.

I'm not sure if this the correct place for a bug report but when I implemented the chattel religion future society, the pop counters broke, showing "$ACitizens citizens, $ASlaves sex slaves, and 2394 menial slaves live here" after advancing to the next week. this only seems to happen with the chattel religion, when I reloaded and used a different future society, the pop counters still worked.

  31. I learned how to play with a mix of reading the encyclopedia and by straight playing.
    Example, I wasn't sure why none of the girls would become more than "ambivalent" towards me. Looked in the Encycloepdia, and suddenly it all makes sense.

    I feel like playing on the normal difficulty has it so getting a decent number of slaves is ridiculously easy. I played conservatively (such as not upgrading the arcology as soon as I could afford it, did not subsidize reputation and such) and had 20 slaves from random events coming up allowing purchase of them. But I think some of that is just RNGods being nice to me.

    One thing I would say that could be useful is more detailed explanations in the Encyclopedia. They (from the way I read them) felt like it was enough to tell one how to play, but had left it to the player's imagination on how things might work. THen again, this could be the intent, and thus needs no fixing.

    Before I get too much more wordy and lose organization, I think I will cut it off here though.

  34. The servants' quarters are missing from the "Facilities" encyclopedia page. Which is unfortunate, because it's the one that confuses me the most.

    All the other leadership positions seem to either enhance or expedite their facility's functions: make more money, earn more reputation, heal faster, etc. The Stewardess has no effect on upkeep, at least according to the sidebar. It seems like she has a VERY slow influence on obedience, up to a certain point? I always have mine optimized and see little to no effect.

    1. The obedience increase only counters the facility hit for slaves who are becoming devoted.

      The upkeep bonus is only calculated at the end of the week, while all the math is being done. Stewardesses can increase the effectiveness of each slave by 50-150 units. They're incredibly useful if you have a very large stable of slaves in the servants quarters - cycling them through to grind down resistance before sale or movement to another facility, or example, or just using the servant's quarters to hold all of your worst girls to counter costs for the better ones.

  35. Idea for a citizen buying a slave: it would only show up if a certain random event had happened at some time before, but it would have a certain Old-World talk show host looking to acquire a highly skilled and highly devoted slave after having just moved into the arcology.

    Any other skills just serve to increase the value. The closer the resemblance to your Concubine, the greater the offer will be, if that is possible to code. Alternatively, the random event part can be excluded, and have the buyer be a citizen of great wealth seeking a slave that a high-reputation player is willing to sell, specifically searching for one that is evidently qualified as one of the best. I may not have explained that part too well...basically, the slaves that you keep as personal toys or are similar in appearance to your Concubine will be seen as "in vogue" by this buyer, who is under the impression that a person of such prestige as the player has the best taste in slaves, thus making the player's personal toys more popular and, of course, more expensive.
    I did have one other idea that I had mentioned several releases back, but it could be implemented for the most part with the new slave selling system.
    Buyer is an 18 year old looking for a sexually masterful slave to be their lifelong fucktoy.

    The option to geld the slave was present post-recruitment, and the slave's individual page (accessed from the next week's main page) showed both the penis and the balls - so the genitalia was generated fine, but wasn't being displayed during the recruitment event description.

    Matriarchy: You've decided to do away with men 'completely' ish. Flips the rep loss for male/female, maybe a survival of the fittest thing? Mandatory demotion from citizen to slave if you don't perform well enough. Special random event could either be convert a male into a female for refusing to leave and/or a buyable thing in the manage arc tab that lets you mix up 'artificial semen' using your Arc Owner's DNA.

    Citizen vs Property: Probably needs a better name but basically you differentiate between People and Slaves, some sort of identifying marker somehow. Could have some interesting interactions with other societies or... perhaps work with the 'laws' aspect that I haven't gotten to try yet. So if you use this and you have asset expansionism, a well to do woman might find herself enslaved simply because her ass/tits are a little too large. Or the reverse if slimness is picked, etc.

  45. There's a bug with the brothel advertisements. I have 15 slaves in the brothel and tried to pay 5000 in advertisements. It ended up costing me 15000 instead. Seems the club likely has the same issue.

    As far as a potential customer, I always buy cheap 2000 slaves to throw into the arcade. I also always buy virgins so I can train them to become sex masters and then resell them for loads of money. I also always buy shemales because cum is super valuable with the milking society option.

      Once you hit reputation high enough to buy from GRI, you can basically buy slaves for X, and get X/4 per week (and more) from them.

      That's better business model than cocaine or Glocks.

      The thing is - in a free enterprise situation, such business models, that are generic, stop being so profitable, because supply will increase to match demand and prices would have to fall.

      Same thing as all the whoring. If an arcology had more slaves than citizens, how oversexed would all these have to be to provide all that business?

    3. What would be cool would be to get variety bonuses and penalties like you do for whoring. And then be able to have marketing campaigns for your milk. Variety bonuses for young cow milk, mother's milk (generated without an implant), virgin milk, shemale milk, etc. Maybe have special rules that determine if you're a cruelty-free free range dairy like the potential buyer or a factory farmer that makes up for its lack of quality in quantity. I love the event that implies orgasming cow's milk is more valuable and want to see an option that perhaps raises the value of a cow's product by inducing repeated climaxes, perhaps as an expensive upgrade to the dairy. There is a lot of possibilities for dairy farming that haven't been explored yet.

    -If there could be a 'Rules Assistant Options' per slave (just like there's a 'Apply Rules Assistant' per slave).

    I can NOT count the amount of (rather frustrating) times I wished I could apply (for example) 'some rules' to 'Slave #1-2-5' and 'some other rules' to 'Slave #3-4', but not have them overlap...
    It's tiresome to have to tweak the 'rules' so that they affect a maximum number of slaves to the best of your wishes, and then spend 10min micro-managing a few/some groups for specific purpose(s).

  62. In 6.2.3 I had a couple occasions where a slave would be listed twice. As though there were two identical slaves with the same name and trait. I know that some names repeat. However when I sold one of them, they both disappeared. I didn't check to see if I recieved payment for both instances. Again, that was in the previous release, and I have yet to play this new one. Looking forward to it though.

    I'll hold off on commenting about the balance, as some thing may have changd to affect it since the previous release.

    On understanding the game, it would be helpful to give more detail about the leadership positions. How, exactly, do they help? After playing you get a vague idea if you are paying attetion. It is easy to overlook specifics though.

    Clothes and accesories are another thing that could use more detail explinations. The encyclopedia has a fluff suggestion for some starting things to help break slaves. But to most that may just be seen as fluff, and not an actual suggestion. With experimentation you can find that some items do hep break slaves, some just seem to hinder them (extreme high heels, I'm looking at you), and others are or asthetic appeal alone.

    It could also be beneficial to differentiant degrees of beauty better. Pretty and Attractive could easily mean the same thing to people. I've also bought slaves that, in their description, are describes as quite attractive but on the main page show up as Pretty.

    Traits I look for in a slave as a buyer:
    AGE: 18 or 19 HEIGHT: Tall ETHNICITY: Asian or Middle-Eastern SKIN: Pale BEAUTY: Higher the better. VIRGINITY: Vaginal INTELLECT: Average or better.

    If you add in Girlish Figure, All Natural, Narrow Waist, Thin or Toned I'd be even happier. Beyond that I'd look for No Tattoos, Tongue Priecing, Oral Skills.

  63. Difficulty seems fine but on the easy end of things to me, however I've restarted enough to know what to do and haven't come across weather damage costs yet in my current playthrough. I think there is at least enough wiggle room for a newcomer to figure out how the game works and play it to their liking. I think, for higher difficulty options you could have it so disobedient and bold slaves say, steal wire some (A percentage?) of your money to the Daughters of Liberty or something like that.

    3. Yeppers, gotta keep getting those cheap slaves to use as servants or arcade fodder per FS goals. I find taking the time to do transformative work is actually too risky and unless you have a boatload of cheap slaves working the servant wing to reduce upkeep to 0-300 you'll just barely manage enough income to raise up your favored slaves.

      People consider it a bit easy but I feel it's more rewarding now as it takes a bit more planning than just having 8-10 high-end slaves whoring to be enough income to coast through hard mode. Although I've seen complaints that complain about exactly that...

  64. I've been preferentially playing without doing the stock offering or running a brothel. It used to be doable by concentrating on upgrading the Arcology and subsidizing growth. NOW, however, even if I've been stockpiling money, I can't knock out the rival arcology before the weather begins to just hammer me. Why does the weather suddenly get so terrible that it costs about 10K every month ?

    I haven't seen the event where one of your slaves asks you to enslave their mother/daughter/sibling ? Are they gone ?

  66. Does one-handed mode still block the personal assistant personality and future society unlock events? If so, any chance of that changing? The description says it removes "non-erotic" events, but blocking those two also blocks a significant amount of *erotic* content as well.

  69. Can I get a "nice" option for new slaves one that would raise devotion, trust, or both? If she's broken in enough I can get her a chance to impress, or if she's injured I can give her medical treatment. Can I have an option to like ask her what she's most afraid of and tell her I won't, until she's ready, or some other type of "deal"? I'd like to have another choice even if that say does limit me in some way. Like if I swear she won't have to have a child till she's ready and then I go knock her up right after that scene she's gets a bigger debuff than the buff would be?

      That said, I don't believe the game tracks what happened during a given slave's recruitment. In a previous version's comments, someone reported reassignment candidate recruits would be glad to have surgery during the recruitment event, but get UPSET when the surgery was done from the slave's individual page the following week.

      FC Dev would need to implement some sort of variable to track which recruitment event brought the slave in. I'm all for it, but if this gets added at all I would expect it to be a back-burner thing the way PC customization ended up being.

Rather than try to code up something that tracks something in the recruitment would be to just "Give her time to acclimate" "You give the new girl a few days of very light non-sexual duties to give her time to adjust to her new status. Some time spent watching your other slaves helps her to understand(devotion up) her new life and helps her ease(trust up) into it's new strictures.

      Speaking of "nice master" options. We have several "Mean" upgrades to the penthouse. A "nice" upgrade or two would be cool. Maybe like an "Entertainment Suite" that includes non-sexual diversions for slaves to enjoy in their off time; games, movies, books, etc. Make it an upgrade like the kitchen upgrade and maybe have it increase the devotion build up of already obedient girls or make the devotion bonuses associated with rest better. You could add a rule that lets the PC determine if a girl is allowed to use the entertainment facilities or not with minor devotional effects. Maybe if a girl spends alot of time in the library there is a small chance her intelligence will rise.
      Ultimately it would be cool for girls with access to the entertainment suite to gain "traits." Maybe they work exactly like quirks (each girl can have only one and the like) only positive and raise the value of a girl for sale or have other minor effects. For example a girl could learn to be a "Good Cook," an "Artist," "Dancer," or maybe a "Musician." All of these are now kind of tied up in the "entertainment" skill but given that I usually have a paternalistic arcology I think it would be cool to have a random event that lets me put one of my favorite girls' art in a gallery or have her put on a concert or show. Maybe costing a couple thousand giving her a minor celebrity status. You could also have negative events, like maybe you have an aspiring young artist but all her art explores ideas of freedom, you may want to quash that, or try and push her towards more acceptable topics, or just deny her her tools until she's more docile. It would also give slaves a little tiny amount of personality besides their fetishes that (unlike quirks) we don't want to beat out of them.

  71. Upgrading my society to ban all dairy products that compete with slave products caused my end of week screen to bug out. The same thing also happened to my number of citizens when I made it law that all slave owners must let their menial slaves use the arcade. The game claims an impossible number of citizens and thousands of menial slaves.

  72. Weather seems to progressively get worse as the game goes on. From occasionally need to repair damage to occasionally not needing to repair damage. I've actually had to sell slaves in order to not go bankrupt this game. Well that's because I decided to enslave the arcology owner, and I'm letting my devoted slaves do as they please so they might not be optimizing my cash flow, but still weather is harsh.

  73. Found a fairly major bug. Was playing a paternal playthrough, decided to build an Arcade just for the Daughters and see what would happen. Did the aphrodisiac upgrade and the Fuckdoll upgrade, got two Mindbroken slaves after a few turns. A few turns later, see if they die or anything, they don't. I pump in a few of my loyal slaves to overload the arcade and sell off the mindbroken ones. After they sell, I'm still overloaded but have no Mindbroken slaves. This is where the bug happens: The game declares one of my Brothel slaves to be mindbroken and sells her off. The next turn, and the next, House slaves are being sold off as Mindbroken. And to reiterate, these are slaves that are not in the Arcade and definitely not Mindbroken.

    There are also seems to be a bug where giving your Head Girl a new job doesn't take her off Head Girl duty, making it appear as she'll do both jobs.

    I also got the blank slave offer at the end of the week and it kept recurring if I hit Continue; Immediately selling her seemed to get rid of it.

    Preferred slaves: Big assed Persian/Iranian/Latina buttsluts.

  74. If you want more content for late game how about interrelation with other Arcology.

    Not something so complex for now of course.

    How about it becomes available when you manage to get 2or more social models well founded (you invest more than 12500 on both of them) and they are well receive in your Arcology.

    The embassy for now could be used to exchange, buy or sell slaves between those that doesn’t fit your Arcology models and import the ones that does, they could be either sent to the slave schools if they are underage, sent to auction or become completely yours.

    This is in order to increase ways to sell and buy slaves, if it is exchanged we can use the cost system or devotion system and trained slave level for exchanging slaves, of course giving advantage to the pc.

    There would be some issues of course, the game allows up to 7 locations so there could be up to 6 embassies which means there will be 6 ambassadresses (each embassy will have an ambassadresses trained by the player), well a manager could be set to monitor your slaves outside the Arcology (they are outside the Arcology so they can run free if they were not well trained, or succumb to another Arcology owner).

    If the implementation is easy and goes well the embassies could be used for either negotiation for peace and alliance or initiation of war, could be used for compromising (like the Daughters of Liberty mini game) other Arcology and have them as subordinate Arcology.

    even better there could be events like gathering all 7 concubines of the 7 Arcologies and the event options could allow you to kidnap the other 6 concubines, build a true new world, or began ww3 XD

  75. Late to the FS society party lol. Unrelated to rest of post; A rank 2 prestige event for slaves that have been head girls for a long time would be nice.

    I still wish for a distinctive FS society focused on attractive+ shemales with balls with a small bonus to specifically non-male hormone cockmilking. Quality over quantity.

    Although to avoid clash, I'd say pecific body-archetypes that provide a moderate bonus instead of minor benefits as opposed to stuff like transformation which give extreme reputation ticks for shemales as you can trigger it at least 4 times per fully transformed shemale slave. So easy in comparison to radicalism, I wonder what the point of gender radicalism even is when they don't value shemales in their entirety.

    BUT The main bonus I'd like to see is a permanent buff to natural shemale face gen by a single tick, as-is, there would longer be need for 'masculine' faces and it's impossible for natural shemales to compete face-wise on random gen without manually adding in something like a 1-50 random check that a shemale can generate gorgeous. Though I've been tempted to compromise lately as transformative enthusiast has gotten a bit more content. Assuming I still have to run vanilla as this is overlooked >_>.

    Archetypes for example would basically just be attractive face and nice+/dick balls while having some other feminine trait dominant on their body. Such as huge tits, huge Ass, high voice/slim, and a for a few traits like dominant/submissive/nypmho.

    I Really enjoy the 'shemale' option for personal assistant manager.

  77. There's a bit of inconsistency with the future society: racial superiority and the location of your arcology. If you start off in say the Middle East and set Middle Easterners to be the dominant race, you get in the main page description something along the lines of: most of the citizens are Middle Easterners and most of the slaves are Middle Eastern subhumans, despite the future society making it socially unacceptable to take Middle Eastern slaves. It should really say something like non-Middle Eastern subhumans, or if taken into account with the inferior race future society, subhumans.

  78. Has the arcology description been condensed? I have all of the construction upgrades and all of the Youth Preferentialism improvements. This is what shows up for the arcology description, excluding the character's office:

    " Your arcology is located in North America. It is a huge structure whose solar-panelled skin gleams in the sunshine, while verdant exterior hydroponics bays lend it an air of growth. 1098 citizens, 5019 sex slaves, and 4980 menial slaves live here. Outside the main entrance, there is an enormous statue of an idealized male figure with several statues of nude slaves at its feet. The central plaza is a large atrium; a security drone occasionally flies across the open space."

    I also have a Brothel and Club advertising. Those use to list the advertisements in the arcology description. I'm not opposed to removing those from the arcology description. I want to make sure that is your intention though.

    On the subject of balance and difficulty: I am playing a game on the default difficulty. The beginning is easy to manage. Easy is fine by me. I'm a casual player and don't look for games that are difficult. After the Daughter's attack money became tighter. I didn't have enough saved to pursue the rival like I had in previous games. Things were pretty rough for a while and I have to just not do anything with my money while waiting out some bad times. Then be cautious about what I did when money was entering my coffers at a reasonable rate.

    Now I know to save up, wait out the metaphorical storm, then spend. I've been expecting some decreases in monetary gains from sex workers given they out number citizens now, and have been encouraged to diversify because of this. In the past I only diversified into other industries to experiment.

    I got to turn 322 or something, with youth preferentialism, paternalism, and purity preferentialism. I was making 60k from dividends, 45k from the brothel, had so many servants my upkeep was only 12k despite all the shit I had going on, had all the upgrades of course.

    1. I play on normal difficulty, I keep a low number of slaves (around 10), I don't trade slaves (as in buy cheap and sell high) and I have no problem with money. I can max the military, defeat the arcology owner and handle the new weather system. I make most of my income from rents since my slaves don't even cover the cost of maintenance and the rest of my income is from corporation and interest on the cash reserves.

    Hard difficulty kills me, but that should be okay since I play such a laid back approach.

    2. What I look for in a market for 80% of the time is MILf (over 40), female(only vagina). I pay more for devout,sadists and or intelligent slaves. I never buy masochists or amputees. I want them as cheap as possible so I don't shy away form unhealthy ones. I am a cruel master ,I like them terrified and expect a ROI as soon as possible.

  82. I love the demographic info for the arcology. It adds a lot to the immersion. How can you be a master of the arcology without even knowing how many people reside there?

    Bug for 0.6.3.2: the demographic numbers start going down after a time and citizens even get a negative number (-4). The total amount of residents was like 2000.

    Suggestions of laws for degradation society:

    1. Mandate slave branding.

    More fear inducing options:

    - an automatic way to abuse the slave (instead of clicking the abuse button like crazy).
    - more items that produce fear :spiked dildos, a bed with electroshocks
    - maybe have a tortures head girl or allow the option for the head girls to have a regular torture session with the girls or something.

Error name $slaves[$i].slaveName amongst a variety of other errors for health, mental attributes, hair, weight etc. which broke my game, assigned $slaves[$i].slaveName as head girl, recruiter, all of the likeness. And destroyed economic status checks like income and cash. Have to restart now q.q

  90. As a starter, may I suggest an additional level of education -- "highly educated" -- access to which is limited by slave intelligence (slow or stupid slaves cannot be highly educated), but improves slaves' ability to perform unique roles like head girl or stewardess?

    And, have you considered adding a tiered system, or advanced, future societies which have other FS's as a prerequisite, but yield multiplied or special increases based upon society type? Two of which I thought of offhand...

    - Greek Revitalism, with a requirement for purity preferentialism, physical idealism, and paternalism. Society begins to prefer anal sex, approves further of shemale slaves, and unlocks an additional role or two -- public speaking and debate, and tutoring -- which improves prosperity opposed to generating income or reputation. Players could build a forum rather than a pit, where slaves debate instead of fight for similar rewards, and upgrade the classroom to a university, allowing free citizens to come in for education as well as other slaves.

    - Transhumanism, with prerequisites of implant preferentialism and degradation. The arcade could be converted to a virtual arcade, slaves could be converted to fuckdolls without being first mindbroken (and serve normally), and at higher levels could allow the arcology to start constructing gynoids, giving slaves gene therapy to rewrite attributes, and/or even start producing custom genetically-engineered slaves (like the herm you get for the lab raid).

  91. The game needs to give you more reasons to be a dick to your slaves. The game has options to do horrible things but you don't have a reason to use any of them. You can break every slave by just being nice to them.
    You should add slaves that are resistant to normal methods. For example the freedom fighters have spent their life trying to end slavery, so it doesn't make sense that they would just accept becoming a slave, you should have to do some harsh things to them, like amputation, making them only be able to walk in high heels, making them drug addicts ect...
    Maybe have slaves that will sometimes bite someones dick off, so that you have reason to punish them by removing their teeth. Maybe that customer tries to sue you, so you can either pay him an extreme amount of money or make a deal with him and pay less plus give him the slave that hurt him, after ofc you cut her limbs of and mind break her...
    Maybe have a slave that will talk shit behind your back, reducing the loyalty of your other slaves, so you have a reason to remove her vocal cords...

    And so on, you get it, as is, there is no reason to do any of these things to your slave

    2. Ideally that would either be gated behind some sort of content filter like the ratio of shemale slaves cause or serve as easier alternative but non mandatory breaking options.

      Because tbh if such extremes being needed became a comon thing I'd probably stop playing.There should be incentives to cruelty/ it should make things easier but the relativly kind options should remain as a viable route for those that can't get a boner for the more extreme things.

Slaves with balls would want to get cockmilked, heavily feminized slaves with dicks would want bottom surgery, slaves with breast fetishes would want to be cows, Nympho slaves would want to be public sluts, slaves that like girls would want to be servants, sadists and dommes would want to be in charge, masochists would want to have surgery, humiliation fetishes would want to be bimbo sluts with big lips, boobs, asses and slutty makeup, pregnancy-oriented slaves would want to be breeding cows, slaves with lots of implants already would want more implants, and slaves with huge assets would want bigger assets.

  96. Great update! I also love that you added the feature "only with you" for non-assignment orgasm rules. Two suggestions for this:

    (1) "[Name of virgin slave] happily relies on you for sexual release, begging you to fuck her every chance she gets." There should be slightly different flavor text on the report screen for virgins vs. non-virgins. For example, virgins under the "only with you" rule might plead with you to fuck them (if they're worshipful) or to touch them (if they're devoted), but in response you grope them to get them off.

    (2) Currently, the feature doesn't update the stats for how often they've been fucked. It doesn't add to the # for vanilla, oral, etc (or to the overall "she has been fucked X times").

  97. the slaves in my brothel, just my brothel, have randomly been deteriorating in health at times. when i don't notice them they often die, but girls with the same options such as clothing and collars and shoes are at very healthy despite being in the brothel for much longer. is there anyway to stop this without taking them out of the brothel?

    1. It's something that I have also seen quite a few times.

      Sometimes there's no option down the page, sometimes there's just 1 'Buy for 1000' option, and sometimes there are 2 options 'Buy for 1000' and 'Sell for X(2000, 2500, etc)'.

  101. You asked for feedback on the mechanics. Most things make sense to me, but I cannot see the value in investing in your reputation or arcology. I have done it, but it does not seem to result in anything other than throwing money away. Likewise, the "major" upgrades your assistant offers seem to do little, if anything. Perhaps I am stupid, but I always seem to run out of money by the time I defeat the Daughters too. Shortly before this I am loaded, but at this point I end up flat broke and massively in dept.

    1. Higher reputation makes your prosperity increase faster, letting you grab more rents. Upgrading the archology allows you to collect more rent. It only makes sense to do this when you reach the limit of your current level. Each upgrade tier allows more money to be made and it can't increase if you don't keep upgrading.

      So typically it's enough to just buy the security drones and then wait.

      You'll run out of money really fast with the other archology owner because of a combination of upkeep and spending 50K a week. Try cutting every other expense you can. Throw a bunch of slaves in an arcade, take everyone off birth control. No growth hormones, give curatives only to people who are seriously dying. Toss slaves in the servant's quarter to further lower upkeep.

    The mere presence of these random 'absurdly costly events' is simply arbitrary, for some artificial (and not exactly desired) extra-layer of difficulty.
