ALPHA 0.7.9: Power to the People


This update makes small additions to many areas. At this point, FC has several active contributors, and integrating their work is inevitably absorbing some time. The most significant of my own original contributions to this update are Free Cities versions of traditional animal practices: a complex monthly racing event based on coursing and a new feature of the slave markets based on gingering.

More contributions are always welcome, of course. More than anything else, FC needs more generic random sexual events between the player and his or her slaves. Coding these is extremely simple; if you can write a good sex scene, you can easily create one by altering a preexisting and mechanically similar event. I'm happy to help explain things to potential contributors by email.

Download: DropboxMegaSaves from previous versions are incompatible, but 0.7+ saves are eligible for New Game Plus. Latest hotfix is 0.7.9.4 (1900 PST July 20), completely save compatible.

  • Added a None option to the Rules Assistant settings for tattoos to permit automated tattoo removal.

  2. From what I can see it the bit where you customize and buy slaves before getting to the arcology, all slaves seem to start out as being 18. Furthermore, it appears that you can't change this.

  7. Importing a slave into ng+ from a revivalist society sets their nationality (and associated accent) as being of that revivalist society.
    Eg. She speaks English in a lovely Roman Revivalist accent, She's originally Roman Revivalist, etc.
    I've only tried this out with Roman Revivalism, and don't know if it's the same with the other societies.

    Schoolroom Enhancement Suggestion:
    An additional upgrade to allow higher education. This would allow you to leave slaves in the schoolroom after they've been educated, slowly gaining intelligence until it is maxed.

  12. Possible Bug in 7.9 or earlier:
    After purchasing a slave while no other slaves are on the main screen, you get the following effects, even when all slaves not on the main screen are maxed devotion and trust:
    "She notices that most of the slaves she sees around your penthouse seem to fear you, and starts to fear you, too. She sees that most of the slaves she sees around your penthouse dislike you, and starts to dislike you a little more herself."

In just a quick look with the cheat start, Under Radicalism if you Implement the Cock and Ball Focus, that policy will replace the name of in certain situations with the option to repeal the policy, for example, in Shebas description: "Cock and Balls Focused Radicalism: you will encourage Gender Radicalism towards an appreciation for stiff dicks and swinging balls. Repeal Currently, she has an attractiveness score of 194 and a sexual score of 28." or in the weekly report of Cornelia "Cock and Balls Focused Radicalism: you will encourage Gender Radicalism towards an appreciation for stiff dicks and swinging balls. Repeal enthusiastically sells her body. Her appearance attracted 206 customers (29 a day), so many that each of her holes was often filled by more than one cock."

    Also the slimness policy for workouts does not seem to work. There are still overweight slaves on the market and no line about "working out" or something similar.

  16. *Requesting the ability to exempt a slave from the RA as soon as you get her. I usually want tattoos and such removed automatically, but with some exceptions for interesting slaves. If I've set the RA to apply automatically, I'm pretty sure I don't have an opportunity to disable it until it's too late.
    Or maybe a "Disable RA auto-application" option in the sidebar during the week-end phase.

    *Clinic is still missing from FCE sidebar. In fact, the only place I can find a Clinic link is the Nurse entry, and that leads to "Error: bad title.".
    The Dairy entry doesn't list the other facilities.

      There's a workaround for this in the meantime - renaming using the enter key will give an error, but pressing the "Apply" button will rename the arcology as intended.

  17. Hey dev! Awesome work as always, and excited to see a new update. I found a bug a few versions ago that hasn't been fixed yet (sorry I forgot to report it earlier)

    With the 'systematic impregnation' universal rule, any fertile virgin slaves are impregnated without losing their virgin status. The text for the weekly report clearly describes sex, and they'll carry the pregnancy to term without ever ceasing to be virgins. Hooray it's a miracle! Virgin birth! The PC really is a god.

    Maybe you could include an optional rule to exclude virgins from the systematic impregnation, or include special text to signify they were a virgin prior to the act (with appropriate responses based on the slave's devotion/fear), or both or something entirely conceived by that dirty mind of yours. Thanks dev, keep up the awesome work.

  20. Possible oversight - the PA body mod section lacks the custom brand textbox - to set it, you have to go to a slave and type it in there. When the custom brand is set, the game dumps you back at the long slave description without applying the brand. Also, some of the new options have an odd syntax - "Your brand design is princess," "your brand design is devil," etc., necessitating the use of the glitchy custom brand to set the proper syntax.

    Also, there is an odd break of two blank lines randomly inserted into the opening text:

    Arcology X-4 is located in Europe. It is a huge structure whose skin gleams in the sunshine.

  27. Both flaw-removal PA options appear, even if there is only one flaw (it is possible to attempt to remove/soften a behavioral flaw even if the slave has only a sexual flaw, or vice versa). Selecting the nonexistent flaw for removal/softening results in the game declaring that said flaw has been removed/softened; in the event of softening, a quirk is not generated.

    This appears similar to the bug I reported last version, wherein the single soften/remove option appeared in slaves that did not have flaws, usually ones that had just had their flaws removed. The final outcome was the same - wasted time and no flaw removed.

I haven't been able to get it to reappear either, but I think it has to do with the HG softenremove option; I always have it on, and it would explain why only one or two slaves per playthrough get the issue. Maybe if the HG event fires at the same time that PA event fires, it doesn't properly set the flaws to none?

      I've looked at the relevant code and was unable to find any permutation of the HG or PA options on their own that would cause such a glitch. If I manage to get it to recur, or I can isolate the code causing it, I'll throw you an email with the save.

    *Gender Radicalist: Female Domination*
    Pure females are superior to sissies and shemales. Decreased reputation decay for pure female PC, greatly increased reputation decay for shemale PC, maybe moderately increased decay for male PCs. Reputation bonus for keeping pure female slaves in superior position (All facility leader position, bigger bonus for head girl, stewardesses and school teacher) and those with a domination fetish. Negative reputation for keeping shemale slaves in superior positon or with a domination fetish (Keeping them in inferior positions is normal and not noteworthy). Negative reputation for keeping pure females in inferior positions (House and Public servant, Milking + the facilities, seriously negative for glory hole and arcade) and for having pure female prostitutes or public servants (additional effect) that are submissive or masochistic. Increased fines for hurting pure female prostitutes. Receptive penetrative sex for female PCs no longer negative for reputation as long as it is dominant (forcing slaves to lick out their own cum would be cool). If possible increased odds for prominent citizens to be female. I am unsure how futas should be treated but I tend to treating them like pure females. Big boost to businesswoman and amazon public assistant, negative for shemale and schoolgirl.

    *Gender Fundamentalist: Outlaw contraception and abortion*
    Contraception and abortion not available. Pre-owned slaves have high odds of being pregnant, freshly enslaved citizens a moderate chance. High odds of being vaginal virgins if not pregnant. Increased odds of anal skills and well used assholes (especially when not pregnant). Anal virgins are very rare. Boost for goddess public assistant. (The timeframe of the game makes population growth effects unnecessary but it might cause citizens to have more children and thus might reduce the number of people who can afford slaves.)

  34. Is there anyway to stop the aging process? At least until version 1.0. Importing my slaves and setting up the arcology over and over again as the game updates is going to have an adverse effect on my starting slaves which means eventually I'll have to recreate them in the game intro rather than just easily porting them over from New Game Plus!

  35. Again I would like to request the addition of a nursery to the game to add more emphasis on the breeding aspects of the game. Having children completely disappear after an unannounced birth really ruins most of the pay off from pregnancy or breeding fetishes. A nursery can be very beneficial too, raising the player's reputation for raising the children of his slaves (and especially slave wives) and raising the happiness (or rebelliousness seeking better futures for their children) of the slave mothers who are station there. All it would require is a count on the slave profiles (not unlike the sexual activity count) to include the total number of children and then the numbers of them that are girls and boys.

    From the nursery, the player could select if they wish to raise their children as slaves, free-citizens or respected heirs of the arcology. Gaining money, population (as citizens follow suit) or reputation respectively.

    Also, a new marketplace for the children of slave owners would be appreciated too. They could even have random events allowing you to contact their fathers for either business or sibling/mother purchase.

A pregnant female PC would have an increased reputation decay unless you have adopted gender radicalism or traditionalism (reason for the latter: at least she performs her duties as a woman). Bonus: Slaves suckling the PCs tits.

  37. I would very much like to see the Norse revivalism suggested a few versions back! Sea raiders from the sea! Or at least a corrupted version of it.
    - Knight mercenaries can be the Jomsvikings (legendary viking mercenaries) or Thanes (more noble based).
    - Reputation boost for being married to the head girl.
    - High reputation boost for having a fearsome bodyguard (higher if treated well).
    - Slaves and money acquiring events through citizen raids/Thane raids of Old World countries.

  39. One small bug from 7.8.1, which I assume is still in 7.9 as it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes:

    Slave girls generated by the "sold herself into slavery to dude she has a crush on because of movie" event have phantom dicks. No penis in the description, no penis during any event or scene, but upon enslavement the option to add a smart clit piercing instead is an option to give a smart frenulum piercing. The option to surgically remove the penis is present in the auto-surgery, and every single slave generated this way has a huge clit.

    I've not seen this in any other enslavement event, but I've not done a shitton of testing either. I had the dickgirl options hidden on setup.

    The nipples of these slaves may also be bugged, or it might not be restricted to just those slaves. I normally 'fix' inverted/partially inverted nipples (wtb surgery option for nipples) by using breast injections and F5ing until the nipples become puffy, and then adding small implants and F5ing until the nipples return to a normal size. The girls generated from this event's nipples simply will not grow to puffy, and the only nipple growth is from partially inverted to fully inverted, with the fully inverteds not growing further. Neither nipple state seems to be affected by breast surgery, so you're stuck with crappy nips. Haven't tested this on enough slaves to see if this is tied to that one recruitment event (was doing a student/schoolgirl gimmick run, so only recruited from a handful of events).

    Suggestion: several recruitment events are fixed; for example, the criminal aphro addict and the dickgirl rapist event. If you F5, you get the same event with a different slave. Most events are tied to one single event however, and an F5 will give you another random recruitment event from the list. Sick pregnant mother, milf buisnesswoman, tenant behind on rents, self-enslavement college girl, car damage girl are the events that come to mind, but I'm fairly sure there are others. Can the recruitment events either all be pooled into one event, or separated into a distinct event each? It's mainly the inconsistency between events that bugs me.

    The makeup and nail description don't seem to be updated.

    Gorgeous makeup (which is the third option) give the description of color-coordinated makeup (the old third option). And color-coordinated makeup (fourth option) give the description of slutty makeup (old fourth option). While slutty makeup don't have a description.

    Same goes for the new nails options. Sharp nails(fourth option) give the description of hooker nails (old fourth option). And gliterry nails and hooker nails don't have descriptions.

    after you enslave the rival arcology owner, you have the option of taking control of her arcology and enslaving the leading citizens of it and using their skulls to build a skull throne.

    Ugly+stupid/sterilized=rep bonus

    Policies could be genetic screening for customers. Those with good genes get to impregnate slaves. Those with bad genes get free access to sterilized slaves to discourage actual reproduction.

    Starting money refers to the amount you can spend customizing your slaves before taking over control. I did not check for every single permutation of settings other than wealth, I just assumed the starting money wouldn't change if you set, for instance, PC.career to engineering or medicine (given same PC.rumor).

  48. Hmm. There might be a little oversight with the sale prices of women that just barely reached their majority. I was using ng+ and had reached my third week with about 35000 credits, about 3000 reputation and just got an event for a very low cost. So I thought "cool I'll get 2-3 slaves from the slavegirl school." Unfortunately it seems that their price is determined by the combined sexual score and attractiveness score after the buff that will only last four weeks. All of them cost 35-55 thousand to buy. I shudder to think of what the price of the former princesses will be because this price just quadrupled. If the same holds true you will pay half a million 400% of the market cost for a 4 week buff. It is a good idea to have additional cost for the additional benefit, but maybe add a price modifier when the first month of 18 variable comes up. Even in slave creation there is a chance an 18 year old just had her birthday which can make the price of an average woman reach into the 10,000s
    Other than that, which I can imagine is a pain to code, love the game. Keep doing a good job.

  49. I'm getting a bug where when a slave gets the birthday event, even though it's nowhere close to being her birthday, she ages up afterwards. One slave was 37 with 43 weeks until her birthday. Within only a few weeks, the birthday event fired twice for the same slave, now she's 39, but her twin is 37

  50. Bugged event:

    "You look into the part of the kitchens used for slave feeding one morning during a quiet time, finding the area deserted except for....."

    This event doesn't seem to pull the details of the second slave correctly: "You pull out a tablet and start getting some work done, enjoying the low, human sounds of your chattel going about their business in the rooms all around you. $subSlave.slaveName pads in, looking not quite awake yet."

    As a result of that, it returns a whole bunch of error messages, eg "Error: <>: bad conditional expression in <> clause: Cannot read property 'lips' of undefined", and makes the event unusable.

  51. Birthday even fires when birthweek is gte 51 instead of 52 which is why you have problems like Anon above where event fires twice.
    Also I don't understand why use the birthweek thing. You could have easily used if ((($week-$eventSlave.weekAcquired) % 52) is 0) which fires every 52 weeks. It also has none of that reset birthweek nonsense.
    And replaced $activeSlave.birthWeek lt 4 with ((($week-$eventSlave.weekAcquired) % 52) lt 4). It's the same without having any new variables thrown in.

  55. Suggestion: Slave 'Tiers' alteration to the Rules Assistant

    I've played a lot of FC, going back to 0.1.01, and for a few months now I've had an idea for a way to increase slave manageability. I've hesitated to suggest it because I dislike being that person who creates work for other people, but I think the idea has definite value and I'd like to lay it out.

    Currently, the Rules Assistant is a valuable feature to cut down on micromanagement. You set up the Rules Assistant, you get in a new slave (or several), you hit apply Rules Assistant, and viola you don't have to fiddle with each individual setting for each slave.

    But the granularity of the rules isn't that great, and I for one like to have multiple classes of slaves in my arcology - fresh meat get one sort of treatment, acquiescent slaves a second type, obedient a third, devoted a fourth... it would also be useful to have one set of rules for slaves destined for the brothel, but a different set for more-or-less identical slaves that I have earmarked (ha!) for the dairy.

    To that end, it would be extremely handy to abstract the current rules assistant another level, introducing the concept of "tiers" (or "classes" or "castes" or whatever you like).

    A player would define each Tier (however many they want, though a cap might be necessary) by instatiating it and then specifying the rules applied to slaves in that Tier, in the same fashion as they currently do with the Rules Assistant. Then, when the player is dealing with their slaves, they simply assign each slave to a Tier (or leave them in the default Tier). Click the rules assistant, or just leave it running, and the appropriate rules are applied to the appropriate slaves! For color, the player could even give each Tier a custom name ("cattle", "loyal sluts", etc etc).

    Similarly - but note that this is not a pre-requisite - one could then peel off the "apply these rules to these slaves" logic from the Rules Assistant and have a distinct "sorter" function, so that a player could click "auto-assign slaves to tiers" and at that point the "if obedient then tier A" logic could run (as defined by the player just as it is now), rather than whenever the Rules Assistant is run / turned on.

    At game start, simply have one or two Tiers pre-defined as per FC Dev's preferred playstyle, and invite the player to edit them and/or add their own.

    I think this would enhance playability and reduce the click-work necessary to fine-tune one's slave management required even with the current incarnation of the Rules Assistant. Define the Tiers you want, when new slaves arrive simply assign them to the appropriate Tier. Running the Tier Sorter will re-assign them appropriately, and slaves can be excluded from the sorter or if they are misassigned, can have their rules changed in a single click.

    I recognize that this represents non-trivial work, but it would make my gameplay (and I daresay that of others) easier.

    2. How exactly would the tiers work? One way I can think of is having requirements to be in a tier and if the requirements are not met then they go to the default tier.

      Like let's say you have tier 1 which has requirement of obedience like worshipful or whatever was the top one and tier 2 which has age requirement.
      The way I see it it would check if specific slave fits tier 1 requirement if not then if it fits tier 2 one if neither is true then it goes under default tier and can only move from there when player specifically changes the tier bypassing the requirements or runs the sorter again.

      Hmmmmmm I'll do a little check in my own rules assistant code and see if I can implement something for you with this tier system. So I'm thinking about 5 requirements for each tier should be sufficient. Well I will see how much I can do.

    5. Alright I put in 10 profiles which all have 7 requirements(Devotion, trust, anal, oral, vaginal, prostitution and entertainment skill). You can specify which requirement are active and other stuff.
      Every rules assistant activation should start sorting them in profiles.
      Sorting is from 1 to 10 so if slave can for example go to profile 2, 5 and 9 then slave would be put in profile 9 since it's the last to check. If slave fails all checks then profile 0 will activate which is the default one.

      Oh since I'm kinda tired I did very minimal testing so things could be broken or whatever. Well that's my warning for you.

  59. I've thought about combat skill and had a couple of ideas.

    First, currently combat is either trained or not there aren't levels like with the other skills so I would like to see slave combat skill levels like with the other skills.

    Unskilled < Skilled < Expert < Master

    Second, I had the idea of expanding the armory with a barracks so the player can have multiple body guards (whom only has one body guard) and these guards could either rotate like with the head girl or be a head of security and subordinates type deal.

    Having an issue with my Lurcher. It seems to reset some of her aspects every time the event triggers. For example, every time there's an event now I lose all surgeries and the slave's pregnancy resets to 28 weeks remaining - quite shocking the first time it happened after sterilizing her.

  61. Would it be possible to either make the "bodies burn mass off of disproportionately large assets" change toggleable in the options, or introduce a way to prevent that from happening? I like the idea behind the change, but it prevents certain real world analogues from being possible at all. For example, look at the model Hitomi Tanaka. Her breasts would be in the ballpark of 2,340 CCs (she's posted pictures of her bras size tags, and several sites have handy bra size-to-volume tables, including Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bra_size#Calculating_cup_volume_and_breast_weight), but she's also thin and rather petite. She doesn't have implants, she's got unnaturally large natural breasts. As it stands, if you tried to make her in the game, or tried to use growth hormones to make a slave look like her, her body would just shrink her breasts every week until she no longer had her most notable trait.

  62. Was this supposed to happen? (7.9.3) The game doesn't say anything about the slave having lost regard in the text but her regard remained the same even though there were a few things that should increase it:
    "Ilinca takes the week off. Her health recovers with rest.
    She refuses to come to you for sexual release, and is severely punished for illicit masturbation. Living under enforced silence molds her to your will. The spare living conditions get her used to the routine of slavery and keep her aware of her place. The uncomfortable straps she's wearing keep her servile and afraid. The uncomfortable leather collar she's wearing reminds her to be afraid every time she turns her head. Hormonal effects cause her vagina to produce more copious natural lubricant. The curatives she's taking synergize with rest, keeping her asleep most of the time. This is an extremely effective health treatment, and she trusts you more for giving her access to expensive modern medicine.

  63. Some Minor Suggestions:
    (Just started playing recently, so sorry if these had been made before.)

    Sometimes, like selecting a madame, you click on her name to select her. Other times, like selecting a slave for the brothel, you click on 'send to brothel'. That should be standardized. Out of habit I often click the name which takes me to the description instead. Also then backing out of the description takes you back to the main screen.

    There should be an option to "reduce accent" option which stops when a slave gets to a cute accent.

    Your head girl gets events way too often. Since she's usually maxed out, those events get 'wasted', at least for increasing devotion and trust. HG, RC, and BG should get like a 50% penalty to the chance for receiving events.

    The mother/sister/twin events happen too frequently. They're so common it's pointless to ever buy from the family liquidators since you can just wait for a twin to show up. Maybe some girls should get spawned with a hidden 'no relative' flag to disqualify them from that event.

    Also there needs to be some background/career variation between relatives. The sister of a model is always also a model, the mother of an albino is an albino, etc.

  64. In 7.9.3 there's a bug at week 21-22 when I selected my future society. It said I could pick one of four, yet it allowed me to pick two(Paternalism and Body Purism. I haven't yet had any other oddities but I'll update if I do come across something or if this one goes further.

    I got a protesting student with 5k debt, 1k enslavement fee, and a sale value of "after a little work with the remote surgery, you can sell her for 192.5k". The "sell her right away" option showed 1.5k instead. Grabbing the slave and listing her for sale outside the event generated several 5.5k offers.

  68. Not sure if this has already been raised before, but would it be possible to remove the skill penalties from microsurgical rejuvenation? It’s kinda counter productive for me to ‘retrain’ my slaves after performing the surgery (and so the endless cycle). And I just don’t really see the realism in it. It’s not like your slaves will immediately forget how to perform a particular sexual activity just because their holes got tightened. Sure, the familiarity might be different but the experience/proficiency should be retained. Not sure if it goes against any fantasies, but I hope this justifies the retention of their skill level.

    Alternatively (might be more work), perhaps there can be a drug, a lotion/lubricant applied externally, that gradually tightens their holes on a weekly increment basis. Similar to other drugs, there should be an option to automate application of this via the RA -or- have it as a standalone feature that can be toggled on/off at the slave details page (like how contraceptives work).

  71. Found an error with the races. The Lurcher resets after every race. I had my bodyguard as my lurcher, she was a shemale, and I was worried by lack of progress in her arousal levels, even with a smart piercing, then I made her a herm, and put her on curatives, and noticed that after a race she went back to a shemale on penis enhancement. What she was set to before I made her a lurcher. After every single race, no matter what I did to her, it was undone and reset. Just thought you should know.

    Slave resets every few weeks to a prior state at about 9 devotion, losing all changes that occurred since the previous reset. It has happened a few times now. If it helps, this slave has been assigned to be a courser, so I think there could be a bug in the coursing association code; now that I think about it, the slaves resets after each coursing.

    1. I tried to take a look at the code for this in 0.7.9.3, but I was actually unable to locate it. Searching for 'coursing' took me to the scheduled event resolution, which referred to an event called 'SA coursing' but no such event exists. Searching for 'lurcher' does the same, and also highlights the code that removes the lurcher if she is an amputee. Searching for keywords from the event leads to no hits.

      I started a debug game to test the coursing code. The event does fire normally despite not appearing in the Twine editor, and the slave in question did revert to her pre-event status. More specifically, I believe she jumped back to her pre-lurcher status (surgically reduced breasts and ass jumped massively in size; their intelligence reverted to pre-education levels despite having just completed classes, her custom label disappeared, etc). Without being able to locate the code, I can't say for sure, but what might be happening is that the lurcher's stats et al. are stored in $lurcher at time of assignation, and their entry in $slaves is overwritten with the $lurcher when the game increments their sexual count. The reset occurs whether or not the lurcher catches their target, though. As an aside, it seems very difficult for the lurcher to miss their target - I had to try 5 times for her to fail to catch one. It also seems that most coursing targets are at a disadvantage, as I did not see one target that had an advantage of any sort.

      Incidentally, there is a typo in the description of the bunny outfit: "Sheba is wearing a bunny outfit, a bunny outfit..."

    She did indeed bring in ¤1500. Cursory code inspection shows that the offending variables are $contractCost and $slaveCost. I have no idea what about the slave caused these vars to jump to ¤20k; the slave was unremarkable, several flaws, unattractive face, too skinny, etc.. This is one of several times I've seen errors of this nature, though the rest were in previous versions.

  84. Feature Suggestion: A way to lock contradictory trait/quirk pairs that result in interesting side-effects. Like the Hates Anal + Buttslut combo that gets a few extra words describing how that works; it would be nice if there was a way to keep these combos if the player so desired, maybe even with a mechanical effect. Like the positive half would gain a small buff while the negative side would have less impact - simulating how some people fucking the above example slave noticing the tension and finding it appealing.

    Personally I find these combos really interesting and flavorful, and they give some of the quirks a secondary work-around for those willing and inventive enough to look for it.

I'd be interested in possibly writing a few, especially with a few variables for traits although I'd be limiting to writing for non-lethal fights because of personal interest. For example, if it's a bad match (very well-built-for-fights slave vs a total softy) AND the stronger contestant is fully Sadistic; on the flip side the loser being a total Masochist (and for THAT I'd even suggest a full Masochist in a non-lethal fight might be inclined to lose on purpose; not as a given but as one of the modifiers to the odds of winning) and so on. Assuming the pit fight-outcome code allows for trait-based outcome dialogue, ofc.

  88. BUG - shelter adoption + Daughters plotline interaction.

    Adopted a shelter slave in week 56. Daughters event picked her, so I let the shelter slave go free. Then, an inspector showed up and asked to inspect ANOTHER slave, one I acquired from a completely different source much earlier.

    IIRC the Daughters' plot is the only time the game keeps track of a slave behind the scenes. I think what's happening is that the inspection event doesn't see a "shelter slave present" OR "shelter slave sold" status and just latches on to a different existing slave.

    Slaves released from the clinic still suffer negative effects from long-term drug use even when the upgrade is active.

    The logic for the master suite pregnancy updates could use some tweaking. It gives fertility drugs to barren slaves and does override contraceptive settings.

The loss always happened when I took out aslave from the borthel with bad health, used autorules to give them curatives, adnvanced a week, and puff...

  101. A bug with 0.7.9.4, new game created with this version.

    Sometimes my slaves get into a strange state, as if they were partially mindbroken. The list shows them as 'MB' or 'MindBroken' instead of their devotion/trust stats, but then once I click the slave's name, I get "Zuzana is a accepting, frightened cow." with no mention of her being mindbroken.

    This has happened twice for now. I can post a save file if it helps.

    2. IIRC this is because FCDev didn't want to completely hide the slave stats behind MB, so they're still displayed on the inspection screen even though they really shouldn't be effecting anything.

      It's not that much work to twiddle with the files to have the game just show her as being mindbroken instead of displaying her devotion, describing her intelligence, etc, but FCDev updates so often I've stopped doing it in my local copy. Maybe wen v1.0 is released...

    The servants quarters says it can support 5 servants but I've had as many as 7 in it before expanding it. Is this a bug or just overcrowding like with the Club/Brothel.

    The sorting by Seniority kinda doesn't work, as after running though the week it seems to go back to sorting by Devotion. But this might be partly due to the game giving me 6 Slaves that were left behind by the previous owner, at the start of the game, so I had 8 in total at the start, as I created two.

    When a slave decides to goto the Clinic they vanish from the game.

I'm seeing a bug with the Asian Art tattoo set (first noticed in 0.7.9.4, but also when I went back to 0.7.9.2) where the slave description includes chest and buttocks tats after applying only the abdominal tattoo and leaving all other areas empty. Going into the body mod shows chest and butt not inked.

  106. - Breast injections can enlarge nipples/areola, but implanted lactation drugs do not. Is this a balance consideration? Because otherwise if both are increasing breast size, it seems like both should be able to stretch areolae/embiggen nips.

    - An option to remove mentions of 'mixed race' (no slaves generated with it) would be appreciated. It's a one-line change for those willing to open up the game in Twine, but a toggle for everyone else would be nice.

    - Youth/Maturity Preferentialism FS options do not have entries in SE Independence Day.

    - I'm still playing around with the new policy system, but I think I rather like it. In fact, I'm not sure if it's feasible (if only from an amount of work/ROI viewpoint) but I wonder if it's possible to basically replace the Future Societies menu with policies. Just take each FS, parcel it up into a few different policies, then let the player build their own FS a la carte (ie, if they enact policies to educate slaves and treat them well, their arcology begins to reflect a Paternalist feel, but if you decree that every slave muted, implanted, and clapped in chains you are going to end up with a Degredationist, Transformation Fetish-like arcology).

Something at the end of Long Term Effects to set Health to 10 if over would be great, if only because it would assuage my CDO.

    2. The problem is that certain slaves are intentionally given more than 10 health such as the ridiculously healthy futa lab slave. And if I recall correctly there is one hardcoded slave who's supposed to be nigh immortal with a health score of 100.

  107. How is the clinic supposed to work? I can staff it with a very smart slave and then put unhealthy slaves in it and their health barely improves. In fact, it's better to just have them rest from the main screen with curatives than to put them in the clinic. It seems utterly pointless.

    I think this is actually bugged because I have slaves in facilities that heal faster "naturally" than the ones in the clinic.

    Also, the "auto-surgery" options are useless. They never fire off unless a slave has an enormous amount of health. This is extremely annoying.

    Finally, in addition to the above, slaves in the brothel, where their apperance is directly related to their income, are not subjected to hormone injections or auto surgery. Yes, I know there is a surgery event, but even still. Why? This doesn't make any sense.

    At least have it as an option if slaves in that facility should be subjected to hormones/surgery auto settings (assuming the surgery auto settings ever fire off).

So, i'm quite an impressive writer and have written for games like this in the past and I would definitely enjoy writing some stuff for the game, especially if it helps it develop into more broad fetishes and gameplay variability. One thing i've noticed is that the game (7.7) bugs out every time you choose the "use another slave to impregnate" option where it says error for each slave that can impregnate and then says you have no slaves available. I don't know if this was brought up at any point so I thought that i'd mention it as well as a bug that mixes up slaves when you try selling one so you sell the wrong slave. A recommended policy would have to be a futanari/female dominance option that basically reverses the gender roles so it becomes looked down upon if you're a male slave owner and it holds futa slaves in high regard. Another thing I thought i'd bring up is the enslavement of your slaves children is that a way that could get this into the game is that you could set everything to monthly instead of weekly in the manage arcology section to speed through the time quicker because I have a game that's 149 weeks in and I only just got my rival as a slave and unlocked the second future policies option. that's almost three years going by weeks and 12.4 years going in a monthly increment. Just thought it would be a good thought to mention as well as a dynasty option where you turn one of your personal children into your successor and they can take over once your character dies. Just a few thoughts. If you are interested in my writing though, i'd especially enjoy writing scenes for the female owner because they're pretty bland and cut and paste to the male scenes with only a few changes so i'd be willing to write completely new scenes for female arcology owners.

  114. First, I just want to say that the new Coursing event (and the lurcher/winner/loser acquisition events) are hot as hell and make me sad that I tend to go Gender Fundamentalism and geld all my non-female slaves.

    - Unfocused sexual servitude (sexual servitude assignment targeted on no slave) doesn't seem to do anything at all other than give a slight Devotion boost to the slave doing the service. This makes it strictly worse than targeting a particular slave (when both slaves get a Devotion bonus). Perhaps untargeted sexual service should give a smaller amount of Devotion to every slave in the main listing (or, if that might be too much, divide the 'single-slave' increase among however many slaves on the list).

    - Any chance of having FSPastoralistSMR changed (or a variant added) that sets slaves to natural (1) lactation? Lactation implants kind of force you into the 2,000cc+ range, but what if you want more reasonable (say 1200cc) all-natural breast milk?

    - SE HG Anniversary is present but blank?

    - The new 'slave' nationality (being a slave for so long that it's basically their nationality) is great, but it only seems to occur in a few specific places. Any intent to expand on it and have slaves who have been enslaved long enough gain it (ie, something like after X time, she changes from 'American' to 'a slave')?

    - Policy suggestion: "Education Subsidy" - All slaves sold in the arcology are required to be educated, promotes Paternalism, costs $1000/week?

    - Lurchers make the third position (after the Bodyguard and the Pit) where having Combat skill is useful, but AFAIK the only method to gain it after slave generation is with time as a Bodyguard or in the Pit. Are there any other avenus of getting Combat training planned?

    - Policy Suggestion: "Slave Marriage" (or appropriate name) - Allows PCs to mary slaves (as Paternalism) without needing the FS (mainly because I really like the feature but don't see why it should be restricted to Paternalism - it fits just as well with Gender Fundamentalism or Chattel Religion IMO, and I don't always want to take Paternalism and/or have FS slots for it)

    - Requesting surgery options for nipples (injections to grwo them, reduction surgery, etc) or at least some method of altering them other than hoping for injection procs.

    - Not sure how exactly to implement it, but I thought I'd throw the idea of a eugenics-based policy out there. Maybe have all slaves generated with less than X combined attractiveness/intelligence/whatever forcefully sterilized? It's just a button of mine - the long view of creating a slavery-based empire: If you have unwanted genes or a malcontent you may be good for whoring, but only the girls with good genes in each generation get to reproduce. And you have an arcology basically-AI on hand to do all the screening and keep track of the records!

    - Dunno if you're interested in expanding the Bodyguard role, but making the BG also a leadership position (of a slave security force) would both add another place where Combat skill is useful, as well as more usefulness for muscular slaves and maybe a little reputation (having enough slaves you trust/trained well enough to let monitor the arcology semi-autonomously is pretty prestigious, even if they're only for show and not a 'real' policing force).

    - All but one of the generation seeds in P Rivalry Victory have a level 2 face implant (and the one that doesn't only comes into play if your game is set to XY-only). This makes it impossible to get a (female) arcology rival from that event that doesn't count as 'implanted'. Maybe consider dropping some of the possible seeds to Face Implant 1?

    - Consider changing the requirement for 'Heavily Inked' to be a minimum number of tattoos (similar to how 'Heavily Pierced' works) instead of needing five specific tattoos (face, butt, anus, vagina, breasts)?

      - Haven't tracked down the exact cause, but neither the brothel nor the club display the natural/implanted variety bonus line (although others, like modded/unmodded or young/mature, get displayed fine).

      - The Procuring (Madam) career list in the encyclopedia is showing the careers that fall in the Leadership (Head Girl) category.

      - There are no careers that give a bonus for Bodyguards; suggest that the Security/Wardeness careers also count for Bodyguard. (Small boost to reputation gain with applicable careers, I suppose?)

      - PC history bonuses (+2 Devotion for being a Slaver, etc) aren't applied properly to related slaves when starting a new game. Only the second slave will get the bonus, if you choose it (example, be a slaver and make a daughter and then her mother, selecting the +2 Devotion bonus for both - only the mother will actually get the bonus).

      - The 'living standard' rule in the Rules Assistant defaults to 'spare' instead of 'no default setting' like nearly everything else. Would save a click if it defaulted to 'no default setting'.

      - The event text for "CCS angel", "CCS DA", "racer DG chaser", "racer loser" and "racer winner" are single huge blocks of text - they'd read better is broken up into smaller paragraphs.

      - Several of the new acquisition events give slaves who have both a behavioral quirk and a behavioral flaw at the same time, and/or the same for sexual quirks/flaws.

      - " In order to continue living a good life without having their property taken by the mob, many of the wealthy and powerful come together to form 'Free Cities.' These are new cities on undeveloped land, in remote areas, or even afloat, fully free of any allegiance or law." Floating arcology when?

      - SE Courser has code near the top for a Lurcher with a huge clit, but when it comes to the end/capturing hares, there's no huge-clit-specific coding, it just falls through to the generic use-fingers code.

      - Several of the slaves from new events (like the various 'racer' ones) are forced into being Very Tall; would be nice if there was some variation there (I, personally, don't like Very Tall slaves, Tall is as high as I like to go).

      - When you add a system for slave retirement, one of the options should be to 'retire' slaves into a dairy or industrial dairy (for Degredationist or Pastoralist arcologies) or 'offscreen' to a 'breeding center' (Gender Fundamentalist), and if the age cut-off is customizable I would suggest options at 45, 40 (for general use) and 30 (for Youth Preferentialism arcologies).

    - Make giving birth a random event (the chance increasing with pregnancy length), perhaps with a choice to make it more (un)comfortable for the slave. Right now it can be easily overlookend in the weekly report.
    - Virgin atribute for slaves with penis.
    - Extreme aphrodisiacs + chastity (+virgin?) event.

  117. I just had a scene pop up with some extra line breaks in the text. Something seems to split the intended text into bits:

    'Giant' Yi is standing before your desk for an inspection. She's naked, of course, and is devoted enough to find the situation arousing: she's being inspected by her Master in the nude, which is sexual enough, and past inspections have often led to a quick fuck. The horny bitch obviously wants it;

    her pathetically limp dick is practically dripping precum
    . Your inspections require the slave to offer each of her body parts to your view, and when the routine reaches her crotch, she obediently backs up to sit down on the couch, spread her legs, and display her

    poor flaccid member, which she uses a thumb and forefinger to pull upright.


    You often pepper slaves with questions during this inspection; it helps you gauge their mental state, and it's just as important to verbally inspect slaves' minds as it is to visually inspect their parts. You remember with sudden clarity what 'Giant' Yi was like when you acquired her.

  119. A couple of things are off about "SE independence day":

    1) TYPO in the "give speech" option for the "social engineering" arcology acquisition option:

    "Transitioning to the future, you supply fresh fuel for rumors about how you managed to acquire the arcology by expressing confidence that cultural development will remain the answer to NEW ANY crises that confront the arcology."

    Should probably be "any new" instead.

    2) INCONSISTENCY - this event fired on week 75 for me. The event's first paragraph indicates "this is the anniversary of...", which implies the event should occur yearly. Assuming the founding week is random for each arcology, I should have seen it week 23, which did not happen.

    The first instance of this event should be set to occur before week 52.

  120. Tried posting this in reply to an earlier comment but it keeps showing up hidden.

    For slave births you could have the follow event. This should only occur your slaves under your direct control (imagine the situation if this worked for the dairy?!)

    **your pa/pa name** calls you on the Intercom.

    "Sir, **slave name** has gone into labour and is on her way to the maternity rooms."

    options:

    1- Dismiss the message. You have more important things to do.
    2- Supervise the birth to ensure the new slave is processed efficiently and the mother is sent back to your slave quarters without any loss to productivity.
    3- (Paternal Society) Comfort the slave during the labour. She's doing her best to expand your arcology after all.

    results:

    1- You thank **your PA/PA name** for the notification and dismiss the message to continue about your day. Another notification comes through sometime later advising that the labour has finished and the new slave has been remanded into one of the slave orphanage housed in your arcology. (Maybe if the slave has a high devotion she loses a bit of trust)
    2- You attend the proceedings as an observer. Once the new slave is born it is bustled out of the delivery room before the mother even gets a chance to see. You process the necessary forms to remand it to a slave orphanage and send it on its way. You oversee the mothers short recovery. She is back on her feet mere hours after the birth and back to work at whatever task she was assigned, all be it a little slower having been drained by her recent exertions.
    9- You hurry to the delivery so you can be by your slaves side during the ordeal. The labour proceeds as planned and a healthy new slave is born into your arcology. You allow the mother to hold the new born for a time while you process the forms needed to enroll into the best slave orphanage in the arcology. After a few tearful farewells the mother lets the attending nurses take the new born away to its new home. (high devotion: You comfort her but as it turns out they were tears of joy at having given you such a healthy new slave). You stay by her side for a few more minutes before other matters call for you attention. After her recovery your slave seems to have responded to the personal attention and now views you in a new light. (trust or devotion gain or both, which ever seems appropriate, prob trust)
